Woodie, you remind me of my wee brother, when we first started at the dogs all those many years ago.
"T2's got a chance", followed by "T6's got a chance", followed by "T1's got a chance", etc:
Before the starter collected them for final parade he'd tipped up every dog in the race!
That was when I started paying the extra to go into the stand, to get away from him.  He did me a big favour as I started to learn about the game!
No stand here though!
Be lucky.  Laugh

Think youre right about Wuheida, Private. She did me a good turn winning the Oaks over 470m, but reckon Ballymac Maura would have caught her with a clear run. Cant be having her against the likes of Bruisers and Turbo

Starsports 2/1 coupled turbo an bullet. Tremendous value for 2 of fastest dogs in training. Think they will get plenty takers. Hills unders most contenders. Wont get any money. Looks like they dont want to play.

the derby sponsorship not being renewed was for starters

then A/P betting was cut back
then fackin people about with hotbox and things like that
then no earlies in shops
then just no earlies

another pointless set of douches

Bruisers Bullet beat King Turbo in both the semis and final of the Olympic over 515m at Hove and rates my main bet at 5/1. Think Turbo quicker early though and found it hard splitting the pair

The each-way pick is 66/1 Azzurri Genesis. He was a finalist last year, returned to form at precisely the right time and will be a very hard dog to lead

Coolavanny Mason claimed silver behind Woo Hoo last year, finishing ahead of Droopys Buick and warrants respect

Did the card in half hour flat. No flys on me! LaughWink

Don't worry Private. Getting your actual price is fair enough. Just has to win then!

private you need more sleep and woodys formula...... here is part of the holy grail.....AP fav the pick.....not quite sure if the second fav is a pick or not but has been mentioned so I would imagine its a pick and something from the previous years final at a big price.......don't worry if it goes tits up as there has been enough comments to allow another three in reserve to ensure the profit is snared....don't ask about staking....that's a state secret with algorithms that professor hawkins could not comprehend and that haunted him up right up to the end.......after saying goodbye to his family the great professors final words were recorded as "but that's impossible woody.....you have beat me".........

Hi all. Only posted for a month or so before taking a few months off the dogs over the winter. After what’s happened to my beloved Romford, I was put off the game for s little while. But the planned renevation to the track is a plus so I find myself back looking through the cards again.

Back for the Scottish derby. Looks a nice comp this year. Got a couple in mind for antepost purposes.

The track runs for the stronger dogs rather than early pace types as it’s some run in at shawfield. I’ll post up before Saturday but does anyone know if RPGTV have it? Cheers in advance

Woodie, I give you the benefit of the doubt about betting Wuheida to win the Oaks even though you slated the bitch, both before and after she won on a SKY card at Towcester.

Winja, it's quite elementary really. Bruisers £13 to return £78, Turbo £8.75 to return £52.50 and Genesis 29p each-way to return £24.50, £5.08 place. Total stakes £22.33. Bruisers clears £55, Turbo £30 and Genesis basically running for money back. One less to cover in the final Laugh. So, if Bruisers wins, I'm getting 5/2 Excited

Not much juice in my ante post bet as i priced him at 10/1. Was hoping for a 12 but aint happening. Bet the 10/1 calico ranger each way. Good luck to all the owners an trainers and of course the dogs. Cant wait for saturday. Starved of top class racing in our neck o the woods. Only an hour to glasgow. Can cope with that.

Cheers Private. I’ll record it Saturday night when I’m home from the footy (Birmingham Away this week for me).

Fwiw, I also like Calico Ranger. I think shawfield with it being a proper test should suit him and he’s getting better with age. 10s is good enough for me.

Ended up playing Calico Ranger at 10s and Bull Run Button at 20s.

The former will relish the track and trip and his trial was magnificent. He impressed me last year in the puppy equivalent and should keep qualifying at the very least.

The latter has shown enough early to avoid early trouble but also enough running in benhind if missing the kick to keep qualifying. He looks like an improver and I’m suprised to see 20s available. I expect him to improve on his good trial and the stiff finish af Shawfield looks like something that will suit.

That’ll do me. Good luck to you all.

Do like to throw a few quid at the Novelty markets during the derbies and the fastest sectional always interests me as I can never understand how they came up with their prices tbh.

Anyway think Wuheida is way too big at 20s for the fastest sectional, a repeat of her 3.63 in her trial could easily be good enough to win this market. Have a look at some of the dogs ladcrokes have in front of her in the market?

U musta bin up wi the birds this mornin. 14/1 now. Still juice in price. At 20/1 probably twice the price she shoulda bin. Alternative the other reg at 10/1. Wuheida in bitch,s market makes plenty appeal at 11/4 as she will have leadability claims evrytime imo dont think they can get her to 3rd bend. So likely be in front in2 home straight in her races. The favorit in bitch,s market bull run button has a horror draw imo and may be eliminated at the first stage.

I liked Forest West and King Turbo Going into this comp, but not much value at all in prices. and yes Forest West may have to run a final to get past Buttons (what a raceExcited) . Sitting the ante post out on this event, the indivdual hit me thinks!
