it seems a lot of people think Jerry is the pinnacle to aim at as a professional punter? that's the standard people almost have a scuff over? omg

wish him the best for his health tho

czech i think the pinnacle is to make a decent living but more importantly is to be happy in life as this is a hard life even when you are winning,

Me thinks gerrys approach is a bit louder and brash in comparison to how many others operate

same sort of position czech 20 plus years at it without to bob coming in from anywhere else. to stop now and live a life without gambling you do still need a chunk of money.

Must have been great times for Jerry, the problem is nowadays you have to factor into the equation as to whether the greyhound you are backing is going to run on its full merits. The one you have done so much research on to make it a bet,and it runs poor and you cannot understand why.Get well soon Jerry.

It doesn't matter Sunderland. No top class pro punter is betting a small amount of selections.

They are betting many selections. Thats why this crap about track bias pre meeting doesn't matter in the long term either. It only matters if you have a small bankroll and are betting a tiny amount of selections per week. And if you are - you shouldnt be betting for a living.

All that matters is that you are correct in your analysis that the price you get is bigger than it should
be at the time you strike the bet. Everything else will sort itsself out whether in your favour or not.

And you will get a living.

you have to find the perfect balanced mental zone, being a good judge of a dog is two a penny and too many people get a buzz whilst gambling!

hate losing more than you like winning !!! then you got half a chance

Often think of the Putter ons who Dont put on and the Bets, they win and then it get worse ...

Knew of a Bloke years back did not place a Yankee for a Punter Came to over 30 bags ,He deffo didnt play the bet

and that was when that was absolutley massive Money Plain He must have been fcking Gutted if he was Going to trouser the Stake

He would deffo have fcked off with the winnings Laugh

met the guy at hackney.
he was putting on £200 for me and everything was cash.
in all the time i knew him all he did was give me money.
i had losers but at the prices i was always ahead.
he put on for me at hackney, the stow and wimbledon.
at the stow i had, radical imgame..16/1...spy gun..8/1..royer close 10/1..optimistic sasha..14/1.
so i had lenty of cash knocking about.
the guy was made redunant and started working in a betting shop.
one day he rung me and asked to borrow 10 grand to buy a share in the shop.
so i lent it to you.
he carried on putting on for me and everyhting was going ok.
then one day he asked me for a loan of 5 grand as he said he had a punter who won 5 grand but another who had lost 5 grand,
and could i lend him 5 grand for a week.
i leave it up to you to worked out which of them two punters turned up.
so now he owes 15 grand.
carried on betting with him and he kept telling me that my 15 grand was safe.
then one day he phone me and said that there was job going down and i could have a share for 6 and 1/2 grand, which i declined.
he said once the job was done i would get paid my 15 grand
job went down and the guy have three lorries of goods. two lorries were up north and the other parked outside his house.
and when he came out of his house the following day, the lorry had been stolen.
ended up owing me another two grand and i stopped betting with him.
saw him in a william hills shop about five years later, he said billy you have not rung me,
i replied , i have 17 thousands reasons not to phone you
e had in lockers up north and the other lorry parked outside his house

take it that was a different fellah starship
as for gerry i was getting him mixed up with a horse racing tipster service
watched the other 4 vids and seems pretty genuine , like his empirical approach

I enjoyed those clips on YouTube very much....if you put the work in it can pay dividends...I admire his approach...obviously it’s about getting the moneymoney

Money on...but with good contacts it can be done.

The forecast doubles and trebles approach was interesting...was this in anyway why the greyhound placer bet was stopped by the bookies

Good luck to anyone making it pay, this is the hardest game in the world, you can watch the videos etc, but the grader soon gets too the bottom of them these days, tech unfortunately used by both punter and grader, once they get an angle still position on first two bends is pretty much guesswork in the larger majority of races(but not all), I remain a card reading guesser.

The process of form study is a hard monotonous process that the majority of people never even attempt and soon get bored with if they do, boredom is the enemy, and value. Stop starting video will soon become a drag for those not able to control their betting and betting is a different subject to form study, stride length for individual hounds, character, stride counting etc all play a part, Timeform has long promised a service that is not yet materialised, you can probably guess why?
