The ricks are very rare on the favs and 2nd favs on here, but there are some ridiculous prices put up on the bigger priced ones and also in the place markets. I try to be against the crowd when I can as there can be good value in doing that as Eddie Fremantle often says.

there is great odds on the rags if you happen to fancy one but you wont get much on it before the price crumbles.it depends on your stakes ,if you bet say £50 you will get the odds roughly but any more and you will need to take a lower price but there is still plenty of value on the rags if you identify one

place markets on dogs have never had the liquidity for me to justify the work on them tbh

i think value will only be found regularly if you bet small stakes ,if you bet £500 plus its hard to get any value on most races

The best type of race for liquidity has to have a short price favourite in it. These 3/1 the field races are rarely of any use. A few months ago I managed to get £100 on at 6/1 in the place market at Henlow one Sunday, so it's not all doom and gloom. To think I recall seeing 4 figure bets at Charlton layed by Tony Morris in the 60s!!

the machine is great for having say 20-30 quid on a dog @ 10s, particularly in races where there has been a move for a dog on the earlies and the move has followed through on here
if you want 200-300 on the same dog @ 10s you will struggle unless taking a lesser price if you want 200-300 on the live dogs on here which go off 6/4-7/4 having been 5/2+ on the earlies then you will be skinto in no time |

there is a lot of money in the henlow markets on here sparrow,its usually 2 or 3 strong in the betting and any price the rest ,thats one card where you get massive value on outsiders,had many a double figure winner there,markets are different at every track just need to get used to how strong they are

I will watch them win garry (or lose usually ha) got no interest at all in betting anything at the wrong price
means a lot of no play races that approach though which is why I punt a lot of other things as I cant live off bowls of rice |
