The facilities at Wimbledon were absolutely crap, but almost everyone loved the Derby there.

Wimbledon's track was as fair as any track I've ever seen. It was just plain stupid and false economy not to provide decent facilities. But unfortunately the only people who cared were the proper greyhound people.

they haven't done anything, they just grade the wide dogs favourably to get them to win their share and make sure the track is well watered (a good thing)
open races are a completely different story and long term we will be looking at %s similar to the record the wide dogs had in 400m opens @ rommers when they had the old boxes albeit it will be for different reasons in my opinion obviously |
