font size for lifetime form too small and the graphical representation of form at specific tracks is pointless. There are also too many pages to negotiate to get to particular pages. On the plus side the integration of some video form is helpful

Theres no comedy RP price guesstimates on the dogs.Those poor bookies will now have to make their own mistakes instead of crbbing the RP ones.

Spoke to RP and it's now a style responsive product. In other words, they know what type of device youre using to access the site. Changes to accommodate I-phone, tablet users etc. According to them, far fewer use a laptop these days

Been using the greyhound.bet site for ages (vids), but prefered the normal RP site for just looking at the form ect.

Oh well, wonder if the next step is charging for access like the RP do for certain parts of their horse racing content.

as for the SP forecast it is still there...on the "card" tab it is 3 lines underneath the trap number

the form tab is pretty decent imo and is similar enough to the traditional RP card plus is enhanced as it has weights and video form

normally I am resistant to change but this site I think is pretty good when it works

Yes people were pleased when it (the app) come out but to see nothing regarding greyhound racing on the Racing Post webb-site is an absolute joke.

Agree, very happy with it, surprised at some of the comments on here, only one slight moan about it and already mentioned above, font size for lifetime form is a bit small. Otherwise new site is very good, although I did use the greyhound.bet site a lot before and really like this new site.

All transferred to a cheap looking app that looks like a child designed.

it would be better if it had the ability to show all runners for a meeting on one page as the RP site did......had to click every race for Thursday and Fridays Crayford card to see runners....

What good is form when you can't even see what dogs it's ran against. I don't want to carry out 1000 clicks before I make my selection. It's unreal.

The site is complete C0ck ,pics dont seem to be working either its an absolute shambles ,who in their right mind agreed to this upgrade its foookin attrocious ..

The site regarding looking at the races is unusable ,what about a quick glance at all runners WTF wants to navigate through that shyte

having to look through every individual race to see what dogs are running is time consuming,you could not beat the racing post layout where you could see all the races together and click the dogs form there and then without having to go through every individual race

Change for the sake of change or just to facilitate charging ? A great idea if you chase all your audience away !!

Just to see whats on the Card use the sporting Life lot easier

If sporting life added form to the races would be the better option

I hope the RP respond to feedback. Perhaps they did not realise how easy it was for people to use their

site as it was. I thought they had done a good job. I never criticised the RP.

The whole thing is unbelievable . They are missing the vital info on the form main page , the winner of the race for each line. Clicking on every race to see the result is very time consuming and in turn will lead to misread info and incorrect selections.

I.e in graded racing there will be for instance 3 tiers withing one grade , at Romford you have open class A1's and then you have the not so class A1's . A dog could run 2 spots faster in lesser company and the only way to see this is look at which dog won the specific race.

I'm sure this ridiculous idea is to misguide the new punters to the game . It's just one massive joke

i am not sure what to think of this new format,are they wanting to make it harder or easier to read the form ,if they are making it harder on purpose then its to help the bookmakers and hinder us punters

Somebody posted above that your can't read all the names quickly in advance when just scanning the name

I thought I had found a solution if the press on card that hit that little arrow thingy it hides all the form and means you can at least see the six names if the dogs on your iPhone screen

So I decided to starting at Fridays cards in the same manner

But hay hoy when you look at cards that are at least 24 hrs in advance you can only select the form tab and not the card tab

So you can not browse quickly the names unless it's the same days cards

The system has been designed by idiots I wonder who at rptv had input it's got their brains splattered all over it

I presume that the sole purpose is to get people to bet through their app, where they make money. They made nowt from people accessing form, runners, news etc from the old site. They make plenty out of their horse racing app and presume that they can make money from the Greyhound app.
You have to ask why don't the gbgb provide these services? No form, no graded entries, no news .....

The RPGTV has a very marginal and fragile betting slot on the betfair exchange when competing with other sports betting, the last thing that it needed is this unbelievable, unusable travesty and lack of a form guide race card. This sport needs every help it can get, but unfortunately I can't see them reverting back to the previous excellent race card form. Another self inflicted damage to the sport.

They will not care in the slightest.

The app is the huge revenue generator for them now and is apparently is starting to dwarf all other revenue streams. The greyhound site will be designed specifically to attract and convert punters as well as there is little other value to be derived from the greyhound punter. Did you even have to pay the membership fee to access the greyhound cards and form?

The paper is a branding exercise and they clearly do not see the membership as a huge revenue stream for now with the removal of racing replays for horses etc. They are syndicating most of the membership content to bookmakers now anyway so it can be accessed there. The money is clearly in getting as close to the bookmakers as possible, so no changes that will appease people on here will be made unless it fits in with the objective of making every last bit of the site being used as an incentive to easily click through and bet.

Well I can safely say since the move over to the naf app I havnt had one bet on the greyhounds. It's a real sad situation. The odds are always against core punters and even more so now when we can't access proper form... unreal.

Why cant you access proper form?.....the cards are still there as is the lifetime form. which is actually better as it now includes weights.....

The site is fine on the PC.  Everything is there, don't see what all the fuss is about unless it's hard to read on phone.

what device are you accessing the app through?

The android app mate . Such a waste of space. Can't even view the full card on one screen as on the Web page you could zoom out to compare.

I think this new greyhound app is absolutely fantastic and a vast improvement over the old site
