Some field assembled. The English Derby winner could easily be there

Agreed, Eden the Kid

Ante post up now, the Irish dogs look overpriced as does Eden the kid, ballymac matt obvious jolly tho last trial was slightly disappointing only beating myway by a couple of lengths. Buick eased at first and is obviously better than that. Anyone got a clue on who is best of the irish runners? Fancy Eden to win with Peregrine a fair bet and Rhapsodyinblack as ew price.

I just cant see droopys Buick liking the shortest run to bend and the first can catch a lot off who run out

Also the dog inside ballymac Matt has moved off first bend twice on its card though never seen them runs

Can see the kid missing its break from t1 and getting trouble at first bend

Fancy a few shocks in the first round

Jeez the prices for this Plain Fair Taxes is probably our best shout of winning the comp, ran brilliantly in the Gold Cup and then was freshened up for this, Cable Bay despite winning the Kirby Memorial last year really needs further, Leave At Dawn would be the same, Peregrine Falcon has not been coming away since returning this year and has not been around, on last years form he would have a massive chance, Mucho Macho Man has nice early but if he is good enough to win this i will be amazed, would say Jaytee Valencia has no chance, same with Cunning Barney and Blue Cafu very little

Of course though who knows some of them may take brilliantly to the track and run better than their Irish form, Shawfield is a track i don't really care for (having years of -200 going didn't help) and would not interest me into having a bet. Will say i am amazed at the difference in price between Ballymac Matt and Eden The Kid, Matt 2/1 in a place ffs

Had a lot of bets to hopefully see me throughout the competitions and before you start screaming hab-dabs at me how many I've picked, here are the bets:

£6.25 Matt returns 3/1 £25
£1.47 Leave At Dawn 16/1, £25
£1.20 Ballymac Frano 20/1, £25
97p Mucho Macho Man 25/1, £25
30p ew Nadurra Boots 66/1, £25
20p ew General Sherman 100/1, £25
10p ew Rhapsody In Black 200/1, £25

£9.09 staked

£5 returns any each-way 4 places

Good luck!

So you're on those dogs coupled at 7/4, I have seen some horrific bets on my time on this planet but that is extracting the urine (win or lose)
By:

Would be happy with a pony in my pocket, ta. You say 7/4 bad but hills going 2/1 Matt alone. All about having an interest. Matt's obvious and has the beating of the Irish on Shelbourne Derby form. Not convinced 16/1 Leave At Dawn at best but weak heat and will surely progress. 20/1 Ballymac Frano looks the dark horse to me, Mucho Macho is nippy and could surprise. Many seem no chance, but the penny could drop for 100/1 General Sherman and even 200/1 Rhapsodyinblack wouldn't surprise me to be in semis, qualifying behind Leave At Dawn. Nadurra Boots is just a stray dart! Laugh.

You say horrific bets, but think I've spread my pot out rather well Happy

Seriously Woody ?

You have backed all those dogs to win joint at 11/8 for an interest ?

At least if the place parts cop you could get a double figure odds return , but 10 p each way?

Where's your pride Woody ?  Its easy enough for people to take the pi55 out of you but you need help

people bet with what they can i've never been one for hammering someone betting in coins.....but i just have no idea how or why you would after-time or "give a mention to" so often when betting like that. as has been pointed out, you've bet pretty much 5/4 on finding the winner and thats before you even top up through the competition as you do which will essentially turn the bet into odds on.....for what? to win 14 quid? it is just a horrible horrible muggy way to punt - it is impossible, literally impossible, to make money betting this way......you crave so much attention and by god with that betting portfolio you have got it.

patrick you and i know that just cannot possibly be true. i do hate the idea of everyone slaughtering just the one person on here time after time ....its a coontish playground mentality......but im not sure what else you can do here........the man remarkably somehow comes up with personal bests on a regular basis..... just when you read something and think surely not i cant believe he has posted that its not long before something else gets posted that drops my jaw even lower....

By:

Got more of an interest in just winning £25 anyway. Matt would currently win me £100 if successful in this year's Irish Derby

You do realise what he does at Shawfield has zero bearing on how he will get on at Shelbourne?
