Format makes it more or less impossible
For stayer to get past next rd ! Unless you it messy heat Gets a lot easily next rd Malls pet how the **** that going into the next rd great form but be 20 behind at half way |

You could be right Fatty. Reckon Pinpoint Boom and La Maqina odds on to reach the final but might not even be able to finish in the top 4 for place money. Kelly thinks sponsors dog will get home, anyway. Patchys Kerry has the speed and stamina but skinny. Might be best looking for intermediate dogs. A couple not really firing but useful when at best and huge for each-way are 66/1 apiece Some Turbo and Thirteen Bags. Intermediate dog with much better chance is Queen Mother Memorial winner 16/1 Clever Jamie. Only two through first round
Good luck! |

20/1 Clever Jamie looks decent to me
|
|
By:
What price was eske per comp few years back ??
|
|
By:
About 2/1, I think
|
|
By:
Mainly had 12/1 Pinpoint Boom, 20/1 Clever Jamie and 25/1 La Maqina antepost. 9/4 Maqina looks big in heat 2 to me and hoping Jamie goes through also. A shade of odds-on apiece Patchys Kerry and Pinpoint Boom pays 2.6/1 and had a decent bet. Bigger priced, 8/1 Kakantu each-way could be alright
Before the 3 Steps, waiting to see early prices for Coolavanny Rebel against Geelo Bolt in the sprint and Making Paper against Teds Last over 500m Should be a great night! |
|
By:
Obviously, stamina must be taken on trust with Boom and Maqina but ended up deciding, the strong runners will basically be out and would rather have runners in the final. People said Hather George wouldn't stay round here, but he did

No worries GKUO, who are you on? First heat certainly looks trappy.

Coolboy Blitz (love the draw) and Viking Jack

Tell you what there was some despo dogs last night
Ace , killacolla |
|
By:
Fattie, I was on Killacola at 7's as thought it had a great draw and was too overpriced, most desperate dog of the night imo
|
|
By:
Double speed going down the back, put up in the air race over !
Jack run well you've got good bet there ! Going by he's early prices antepost |
|
By:
Cheers Fattie
not many wide runners who I thought had chances and those two stay and were big prices who I thought had a good chance of getting thru there heats last night and then hopefully be well drawn in semi's which has happened even though heat 1 is a very tough heat I'm confident Blitz will qualify |

Thought Patchys Kerry had got up. Failed by a whisker but still through. Maqina ran like a drain, moving towards inside never picked a foot up. Should have known not quite right on Swindon form. Pinpoint Boom, easy to back in the ring, was another bitter disappointment. Still got Clever Jamie left and a couple of tiny bets huge outsiders, like Thirteen Bags and Viking Jack, though

Now your on Jack
You mentioned 6 dogs for the comp and now your on Jack aswell, amazing that ![]() La Maqina does not want trap 4, nothing wrong with him imo just bumping 3 all the way to the first as wants to be nearer the rail but most would know that if they have see her runs at Sheffield from trap 4 ![]() |

Knock, dogs like 66/1 Bags, 100/1 Jack don't really count coz only peanuts on. Like I said, mainly had Boom, Maqina and Jamie (3 dogs.) Really thought I'd be seeing Boom and Maqina in the final, but that's dog racing for ya!

Who went 100s Jack woody ?
|

By:
Thought it was Ladbrokes but cant trace the bet now. Possible I was getting mixed up with Some Turbo

Come on woody, are you on Jack or not? Can't trace your bet
How many you had ![]() |
|
By:
No, not on Jack. It was a 12p each-way bet Turbo at 100/1 to return approx. £15 or £3 a place!

Little top up 12/1 Clever Jamie, just makes the whole affair a bit more worthwhile now. Will be more at home over this slightly longer trip then if qualifying, should have a fine chance over 660m. Patchys Kerry opposes in the first semi Tuesday and she looks sure to come on. Merits maximum respect
Second semi. Big swing in the betting for Roxholme Hottie. 12/1 at the start, best 11/4 now. Useful when leading, but still not totally convinced about her stamina, so needs to do everything right. Hoping Satin Mark goes through here |
