Crossfield Cesar appears held by Ballymac Brogan but at a difference of 7/2 and 8/1, much stranger things have happened in greyhound racing. Just .29 spots cover the entire field on semi-final form, so happy to be holding a 20/1 ticket

Last wednesday they now admit the day before they put a load of new sand down and the rails didnt run an ounce.
Fridays card there was zero Trap 1 winners but cant be certain about bias.
Looks like they tried to correct it for saturday. OH DEAR talk about a flip flop - 0 T4 winners, 1 T5, 0 T6 winners.
Then monday back to 0 T1 winners and 1 T2.
Just a complete and utter shambles. But as the manager said last week `thats the first I've heard about any potential bias'. LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Do you think they may decide to dump tonnes of new sand on wimbledon halfway through the derby?
Good luck punting on wednesday night.Last wednesday they now admit the day before they put a load of new sand down and the rails didnt run an ounce.Fridays card there was zero Trap 1 winners but cant be certain about bias.Looks like they tried to cor
Some very fine dogs racing Fatty but not sure many at their very best. Can pick holes in Jock, Buddy and Bound for instance. Brewery versus Van Dutch should be good. Don't think I'll be having big bets anyway

Couldn't agree more about the going and laying new sand. Equivalent to Newmarket watering one half of the track before the 2000G and not telling anyone. No wonder the dog game is on its knees- an absolute farce.

This going bias talk is one of my pet hates in the game, 90% of it is absolute booloocks, its people looking for an excuse to have a bet or why they lost their bet.
However in this case people are absolutely correct to play fkin blue murder, this fkin halfwit bill glass and the team of red necks on their sponsored tractor ride around the track have completely fu cked the competition in the a55, its not a matter of opinion, its a matter of fact that the rail was a MINIMUM of 4 lengths slower than the wide.....that's not using the open dogs as a guide, thats using the graded

if you played graded at certain tracks you wouldn't be saying 90% its bowlarks, it is inconceivable that a track can produce a completely level track on normal going all of the time
I agree a lot of the time the bias is subtle but that is where the £££ is for the people who (a) can identify it and (b) are on top of it
swindon ground been diabolical agree completely

Daveg what do you make of this ??? Got ante post fav , looking at 4 length handicap !! Did you know or owners know they where relaying the track last week

Furys run was defo even better than looked last week cos against bias- but was for sure a huge help being drawn in 4, as other 2 semis showed with nothing able to pace up on inside. Down the back the rails looked like they were running in treacle, hard to see just how tight Fury railed but again if he did rail tight then it's run was top drawer.

Bags tracks are manipulated almost daily, end of last year had 4 runners have only got one racing now others lost to injuries, inc a bitch we paid 6k for who broke down whilst clear in a pre-oaks trial session, on the same session Pat Rosney lost 3 young open class dogs with career ending injuries. Unless you are seriously hardcore or addicted you don't keep going back to the well to buy more dogs!
simple equation, the bookies cant beat the clued up punters on a level track + constantly turn the tracks over + dogs suffer injury's = everyone has enough and doesn't want to own dogs anymore
there are no winners long term...

you lads would know much better than me regards graded thats for sure so take on board what youre saying, cant say its a primary consideration where i play the game tbh, obviously im aware of it but id need to see something concrete that cant happen without a "bias",that happened in the very first race at swindon wed night.

generally when opens on are I believe it is a different set up usually sped up but try and get it level
and yep Fantastic Legend one of Swindons most beloved screws, beat a relative mile on the rail last weds pretty much untouched that's borderline impossible on a level surface
business as usual yesterday 2nd, track looked slick tho ready for sky yawn!

Must say that I was unaware of any bias at the time.
He moves rails from the box - maybe a couple of feet off the rail on the run up - and like many railers, he rails the bends and moves off slightly on the straights.
Just hope all will be level tomorrow night

Think the straights were the main problems last week, railers didn't go to the bend well at all or pick their feet up down the back. So probably s good thing he moves off slightly down the back

Raptor 11-2 Nice local hope it gets jump start on fav and Dutch 11-2 was big
Blitz 7-2 3 from 5 over 509 trip seems to save himself for this got willy next door but hopping he get out Know the other local thing in red , seems to edge out when in trap one , could give , two three a problem early
Aventsdor 5/1 liked his win last time I think he as nice draw with four who's pretty rails at hove I'm sure I can't get blade right ever again need to bt him out
Bound 6/4 thought he run well last time here befor towcester thought That run might make the books look else where but ain't happened I think he get the no done
Peanut play on the nut rock at 16s Wants another 100m IMO but at that price Give him go 5 auto be mile clear but if there any Problems up top he be coming home for sure
Good luck daveg for the final no play tonight Either him or brogan will win

Agree Fatty, think Aventador got a squeak at 5/1. Although I said Buddy not at very best, surely only has Billys Bullet to beat, who might be better retired now, as some have already said. Added to Buddy, Brewery and Domino, 5/6 buying money), and thought Bound good enough at 13/8. A couple of doubles, a treble and an acca anyway.
Cesar would be an excellent payout for me, at 20/1. Fingers crossed
Good luck!

Why on earth should Bullet be retired? Because he has won 3/10 since coming back, will still be competitive in 6 bend comps and is going off 2nd fav and running well on sky every week?
Played molly in first - 4/1 good value with storm lacking her usual zip to bend.
Haiti an understimated dog, will play small at big prices and in fc's to fin 2nd to Romeo and Bally.
Ballycannon is a v nice dog when coming away, will play tiny at big price.
Buddy looks value at evens, with 2 sleepers inside.
Bound surely just needs to avoid baran early to collect, 6/4 value.
8.16, 8.33 and 9.08 are headaches.

It's many lengths slower than before it hock break and could have been the best six bender since ballyregan bob
It not great when he led up at Wimbledon and went backwards and seemed to be really struggling on the run in
It had the potential to be such a great champion that it's sad to see it run around the track like it does now
The pace it showed around hove was unreal and night it went clear before the injury was awful sight to see

I also agree should be retired for what the dog can do to what it did. Its fairly painful to watch him wobble around the bends I have no problem with a A5 dog coming back from such an injury and being A8 but to see him struggle isn't great viewing. Just my imo

They need to retire that winner. Criminal seeing it grovel home.
Jeez. St Leger winner and it was wobbling/moving off at every bend against a completely shot/lame has been.
Do the right thing.

where is the logic in doing all the short priced dogs in a yankee and then laying off in the last leg?? it will pay feckin peanuts win or lose

you put the dog in at 13/8 in your acca, why would you lay off when it surely could not have been any shorter to lay on here?
never understand people who do multis then when it gets to the last leg lay off (unless the last leg has got too short and is a value lay)

It was around 13-8 on here same price as you backed it
And you must have won stacks at Cheltenham last week so should be well tanked up

I know, I know but that doesn't sum up yesterday. Listen to this. Did 25p each-way 11 selection acca, horses and dogs, with a view to watching the races on streaming. All won apart from Jock and Aventador. The estimated returns were about £110k, but with maximum payout coming into force, would have won £50k
