If you are a proper wide you have absolutely no chance.....the bends are too large and sweeping .Fast starting railers have a massive advantage...

mate went harlow to see hes dog pulled it out said going a fcking joke. its now been on twice and trainers have pulled their dogs out because of the going told you about this track would not run a cat around the place

harlow on "a 6 mth trial",thats about 5 months and 30 days too long a fkin trial thats for sure

liked the race initially cos i thought the rail was a potential mess with 3 nailing rails run up,task has been made easier now obviously with red out....thought 6 would lead the wides...small play 6

I tell you what mush, I love this game, have since I was a saucepan, its great that we can watch in the warm, what I dont like is idiots with no backbone to tell the truth, gravy trainers who keep quiet, the constant problems with the pictures etc

After 90 years of greyhound racing you would have thought they had learnt how to put together a track. It's a good job those responsible weren't around in the early days of the sport.

Towcester racing is a complete bore. Harlow a shambles of a track. Waste of time adding to RPGTV.

The track was built for 8 dog racing ,I think they got a bit carried away regarding Width tbh .

imo RPGTV should go back to 3 nights a week and then do 3 quality shows like it used to be rather than 6 gash ones like we've got now

i think you lads are being a bit harsh.
the production of the show just has to be on budget - racing uk is 20 odd a month and i cant see tina or burrawatti emailing in any more if they start charging for it.
yes harlow wouldnt be my fav choice of track but i needed a race into him and i cant get to the track very often with racing and family commitments - having rpgtv on is really helpful, as if it wasnt available i can nearly certainly say i wouldnt have dogs again as i couldnt go and see so whats the point - and how many others in the same situation? knock on effect is less dogs bought, breeding game gets another nail in the coffin, less turnover on the races, and the show doesnt break even and gets binned etc.
ultimately, i dont like the motives behind rpgtv - the bookmakers are not doing it out of the kindness of their heart, they want as much bingo racing as possible and the dropping of coventry to replace it with henlow on a sunday was a disgrace. but, there are still dogs on tv, they are still someone elses pride and joys they may otherwise not get to see and no one is forced to bet on it - dont fancy it, dont bet on it.
tbh i cringe when dave clarke is on it as well, so i tend to watch it online where i can just mute it, but each production isnt done for free it still costs, and if you arent making it a subscription, which it surely cant do, then it has to be done in other ways. a budget studio, with jay kay wearing a tight cotton rpgtv polo shirt wrapped around more spare tyres than a kwik fit garage, average presenters and loads of naff cheap adverts is still better than no racing at all, and i for one wouldnt be buying dogs if rpgtv wasnt around. we have moaned in the past how every horse race is on tv and no dogs but for every fortnight on sky, at least its been addressed, and really, is it any worse than attheraces? its the same principle i'd suggest.
i'd certainly rather have the programme than not at all.

The only problem as I see it is the bookmaker driven saturation. Years ago, Hackney was the one meeting on a Saturday morning broadcast in betting shops, and a fare few people used to go in just to watch and bet. People got to know the dogs, they could study form because of the 17 or 18 minute break between races. Then Crayford was added, then afternoon meetings, followed by evening meetings. Barely any time between races, and nearly all of it 7-2 each of 6 dross. People lost interest. I can only speak for myself, but the extra nights do not necessarily mean I'll be watching more, especially when the quantity seems to be prioritising over the quality.

Bookmakers do have a habit of over doing things..if something shows a profit they always go over the top..

When it ceases production and it will as the sport falls further in to decline (not helped by you lot downing it all the time)and you are watching coronation street you will look back and say 'you don't know what you've got till its gone".
You are right SGE people should just not watch it, though I guess most are just annoyed with RPTV giving it the title super tuseday

might get some people of their ass and go to the tracks i don't go weds and fridays now because of rptv the only thing i will miss if rptv goes is the early prices nothing else
