Looks a very good competition. No betting yet but the likes of Walshes Hill and Target Harris will be well to the fore. You Never Listen, Scolari Sound, Ballybeg Brewery, Daytime Flyer, Laughing Gravy etc lend the competitive edge

Walshes Hill at 9/2 is a great bet . We all know he's the most consistent sprinter and should walk this competition

Yeah must admit been awesome racing tonight! Fantastic competition this year and glad all the top guns got through (Harris doesn't deserve to be there on his last few performances , simply not on this level)

emi-final draw, first: 1 Flashing Bolt, 2 Lemon Pluto, 3 Stanton Stream (m), 4 Riverside Gold (m), 5 Vanayamzaman (w), 6 Sidarian Bullet (w).

Second: 1 Ballymac Godsend, 2 Westmead Alexis, 3 Cloncunny Ardera (m), 4 Comrades All (m)CryCryCry, 5 Mac Foiche (m), 6 Laughing Gravy (w).

Third: 1 Scolari Sound, 2 Suirside Leah, 3 Walshes Hill (m), 4 Barrow Rumble (m), 5 Ballybee Brewery (m), 6 Holdem Jet (w).

I COULD CRY WITH THAT DRAW

Said ages ago would be interesting if Walshes Hill and Scolari Sound clash. Backed Walshes at 5/1 but the draw could make a difference tonight. Just hope he qualifies and goes on to get crowned sprinter of the year

Just had a side bet 33/1 Lemon Pluto, each-way, now Sidarian Bullet a non runner

Vanayamzaman won well. Lemon Pluto crashing fall run-up Sad

Laughing Gravy first to show but Mac Foiche the better pace up and managed to hold Gravy near line in second semi

The old timer Lemon Pluto T2 Appeared to catch his foot in his muzzle and came crashing down Manchester. He did however run around to the pick-up and whilst I cant be absolutely sure he did seem ok despite , Ive no doubt, a few "reminders" of his calamity.

Only one winner, as long as he is OK after what happened at the trip.

Had to re-think my betting strategy and come away with 6/1 apiece Vanayamzaman and Laughing Gravy. True, currently, Scolari Sound has become the country's leading sprinter but even from his advantageous draw, a slight hiccup at the start in a sprint would make it much more of a level playing field and not about a 4/6 banker

Good luck!

Woody what's the edge to backing both
Them dogs please
Why you going in again surly easily races to pick up a winner
Sound as to balls up the start to lose
Ain't looked like doing that from trap 1
if he been drawn in trap 2 somethink diffent
Might put him off slightly !

Yes, Fatty but prefer 3/1 the pair stated, than 8/11 Scolari. Not past the post yet, seen much longer odds-on shots get turned over quite a lot
