Not easy, but got loads of dogs through to their respective finals. Holding some fancy priced antepost tickets like 8/1 Pinpoint Dazl (best now 9/2), 25/1 Barnish Panther each-way (now 10/1), 5/1 Calzaghe George (now 11/4), 12/1 Baliff Cairo (now 5/2) and 40/1 Gainstown Storm each-way (now 12/1.)
Topped up Storm Good luck! |

Found myself light in the Northern Puppy Derby so sided with Buick on a 7.6/1 double with Wiki, Kent St Leger. Camp is the type to keep pulling off the front but if Buick closer this time, could be a grandstand finish. Always liked Wiki and she's capable of upsetting odds-on Tamera
Good luck! |
|
By:
Wicki pulled it out in the Golden Jacket final Woody
Tamera has looked very impressive so far? hmmm? |
|
By:
This is true Ebul but think it could still go either way so bigger price Wiki swayed me, as don't really want to be backing Tamera at that odds-on price, 4/7
|
|
By:
really woody....I would have thought a 40p/70p would pay for one of next years derby bets......
|
|
By:
Thanks for your contribution, Winja!
Then, what would I do the rest of the year? The double works out at £2.90 to return £25 ![]() |
|
By:
if that silly sod had taken his dark glasses off on Saturday he may have seen it was massive rails......accordingly Tamera's run can be upgraded from extremely well to extraordinarily well and will probably justify her cramped odds in the final.......have the 40p/70p......

Hot All England Cup final last year where Newinn Yolo beat Pinpoint Maxi and Maum Legend, so the last named obviously must be given the utmost respect again. Just hoping Calzaghe George beats him to the punch and plugs on well enough

Already dealt with the Northern Puppy Derby and don't think Elwick Glory would be giving up the lead to Shellam Maeby in the Great North Run this time. Fairly hopeful Pinpoint Dazl can start and go up quicker in the Angel Of The North to turn the tables on Domino Storm

Personally, got 25/1 Barnish Panther each-way in the Great North Run but not sure of the place terms, so phoned Ladbrokes customer services to be told 2 places after he was looking at horse racing meetings. Have you ever tried to talk to a monkey? They just look at you with those big brown eyes and you feel the need to give them a banana. After putting me on hold about 6 times, he said the horses are 3 places. I'm not sure for an 18 runner event. Should it be 4 places. Anybody know, please?

By:
1/4
1-2-3 That's what Bet365 were going, so I would imagine all others the same Woody |
|
By:
Cheers GW, might have a squeak of the place money then
|
|
By:
Backing each way and not knowing the place terms, ffs. Even if I did somehow do so little work to place a bet on terms I did not know I would not be highlighting it on here, no matter what price I was on at and why price it was now, it makes you look silly and shows how much work you put into the selection
|
|
By:
Played Panther 8s just think they seem to have found what makes him tick can see the inside becoming a mess
Aero inferno 7/2 got great draw just want a smash break Knockbawn caviar 8/1 I thought it had leaders chance , with Inside showing no early last week Toot I thought was dreadful Played few doubles at the prices |
|
By:
Assumed 4 places, thought it has been before in such events but it didn't show on the slip so enquired, that's all. I don't really need to find out when my bet's 60p each-way to return just £20 and £4 the place roughly. Don't deal in hundreds like you PF. Anyway, it had to reach the final first, didn't it? You're either getting too serious or like I said recently, moaning old goat
![]() Would swop Calzaghe George for Maum Legend now. Suppose could lay my 5/1 George and back Maum but price gone now Some firms are going 5/4 Camp and 9/4 Buick but surely there cant be that much of a difference Of the supports, favouring Alessio in the sprint. Cathal has looked fast at Notts but Alessio preferred at 7/2 Although outstanding at Sheffield, cant bring myself to back Minglers Thunder. Could be he's just a different proposition round Owlerton, so 8/1 Bramble Ted each-way might be okay 10/3 Alma Prince to upset strong odds-on Ribble Atom late 9/2 Lowgate Jasper worth another chance in competitive six-bender Good luck! |
|

Barmish Panther out. Would you Adam And Eve it? I blame PF!

Pleased with Alessio but Domino and Dazl ran as though too much Winalot

Oi oi Buick!

bit of a lucky winner!

Camp led and had every chance. Couldn't understand the difference in prices

Laid some George off. I must be getting good at this!

Great run, a proper fair and square job
|
|
By:
1 come together with the inside rail between 1 an 2 bends.
..if that don't happen maybe the winner dont get past 1 @ the 3rd bend |

Thinking Maum needs to clear Nutter now
