I know they have moved the traps back and consequently the section times are higher. Did they move the finish line to compensate? or have they ploughed up the running surface as well? Hove used to be a good running surface with consistant going, why has this changed? Thanks
What's the point of having going allowances and calculated times when they are meaningless. I agree with hunglikeadonkey - sooner they call the going normal the better, or this another bookmakers ploy to confuse our muddled minds further?

The Hove racing office are not exactly covering themselves in glory over how they have conducted the change over.No advance warning that it was coming and then knowingly giving a fake going allowance to make the times appear as before.A very poor effort from them.

The whole idea of going allowances is to reflect the track conditions at that particular meeting. By definition therefore it will vary from meeting to meeting whereas the trap release mechanism should be a constant. If it is confusing now, in good conditions, goodness only knows what it will be like in the middle of a wet winter, going allowance of -100?
