stop talking nonsense ffs will ya, you're beginning to make yourself look rather silly

the thread has been read enough times and nobody else thought the need to come out with that

and yes i am a greyhound lover and my greyhounds want for nothing

But you hope for carnage, and consequently the risk of injury to other dogs, to win a couple of quid.  You seething mass of halfwittedness.

i said the possibilty of carnage on the inside is massively reduced due to Glenanore Dancer being withdrawn thus giving Sugar Ray a better chance - greyhounds don't run in lanes, if they did we would all be loaded as the fastest dog would win every time, fact is there is trouble in races, of course everyone hopes all the dogs come off sound

and i am not seething sweetheart, it's clear to see who is seething here, the person calling the other names

You're easy hooked.  I'm not calling you names - I calling you a name, halfwit, which is a lot less abusive than you need to be.  Halfwit.  The kind of halfwit who wants to profit from dogs suffering in "carnage"!

Obviously the draw is no different for Skywalker Farloe (he still has a great draw) but the possibility of carnage on the inside is massively reduced..  So, correct me if I am wrong - everybody, anybody - but does this look like the statement of one who hopes for carnage so as to benefit his punted dog and thus improve his chances of winning a couple of quid?  Of course it is.  Halfwit.

you're telling me you're fishing now Keith??

if trouble in greyhound races upsets you so much take up ballroom dancing or something, it happens so get over it

and i have never wanted to profit through a dog suffering

how many dogs do you own out of interest?
By:

trouble is inevitable in greyhound races.  Hoping for "carnage" is a disgrace.

Pleased with Cabra Buck and Skywalker Mandy only just failed to reach the final. 14/1 Buck should lead and go clear in the decider. Just a matter of if Skywalker Farloe or Tyrur Sugar Ray can catch him then.

as for the final draw it could not be any better for Sugar Ray, just have to hope Farloe can avoid Buck at boxes and turn handy

The semi-finals of the Dandelion Bar & Nightclub Easter Cup were run at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night and they produced contrasting style of races with Skywalker Farloe winning a thriller while Cabra Buck dominated all the way.

It ended up with Frances O’Donnell and PJ Fahy both getting two runners through to the final to be run next Saturday.

FARLOE TOUCHES OFF SUGAR RAY

The first semi-final was a terrific contest and it saw the Frances O’Donnell trained Skywalker Farloe (Skywalker Ace/ Final Orchid) snatch a late victory in 29.77.

As anticipated Riptide Movement set a strong gallop as he came away fast from the inside box but Tyrur Sugar Ray also got away smartly and actually bumped with Riptide in the early yards.

Riptide Movement led out of the second bend by three lengths from Ardfert Thunder with Tyrur Sugar Ray and Skywalker Farloe battling it out for third. Riptide continued to lead to the run-in but the pursuers were closing fast. Skywalker Farloe flew up the outside with Tyrur Sugar Ray on the inside and it was the Patterson/ Byrne/ O’Donnell Syndicate owned Skywalker Farloe that grabbed the victory by half a length. Tyrur Sugar Ray was a length in front of Skywalker Legend which got up in the final stride to deprive Riptide Movement of a final place by half a length.

IT’S EASY FOR GRAHAM’S BUCK

The second semi was a totally different type of contest with the Graham Holland trained Cabra Buck producing a most emphatic display to win handily in 29.81.

Last year’s Derby runner-up is noted for his early gears and he certainly put them to best effect here as he flashed from trap four and had clear daylight to the bend from Tyrur Arthur.

Tyrur drifted wide on the bend and Burgess Rumble slipped into second place. The Bart Heil owned Cabra Buck (Big Daddy Cool/ Cabra Belle) really opened up down the back to go five lengths clear with Tyrur Arthur moving back into second.  But it was all about Cabra Buck up front as he won by three and a half lengths from Tyrur Arthur in 29.81 with Hillcroft Champ three parts of a length third.

FINAL TRAP DRAW

1 TYRUR SUGAR RAY

2 TYRUR ARTHUR

3 SKYWALKER LEGEND

4 CABRA BUCK (M)

5 SKYWALKER FARLOE (W)

6 HILLCROFT CHAMP (W)

see the market is getting more realistic for the final now - can see it being 5/4 Sugar Ray, 7/4 Sky Farloe on course

Asked before the semis and asking again now pf. How dya rate Cabra Buck's chances?

ran his best race of the year in the semi final, was a massive step up on anything he had done in the Gold Cup or Easter Cup so far

think he leads (shock horror) but is either Sugar Ray or Sky Farloe get a clear at him i think they back run him, he would probably need bother - problem being it is hard to see Sugar Ray getting bother, perhaps Arthur could do him at boxes (doubtful though) as he won't be doing him on the corner as he doesn't seem to like turning left these days - think there is the possibility of Buck and Farloe coming together at boxes and their chances could be ruined

you have a chance anyway as he looks a guaranteed leader unless him and Farloe come together badly at boxes
