Ex WGW Hound Jake has been stolen from his own home last night 2/11 around 7:30pm from New Malden, Surrey KT3 area!
Please can everyone keep an eye out for him, we don't know why he's been stolen, he's 8 year old and castrated but PLEASE if you have any information don't hesitate to contact me in confidence!
Has someone asked you to board a hound?? Please check as it might be Jake! He's registered on dog lost, all the free ad sites are being monitored and we're trying to spread the news via Facebook too!
Jake needs to be back home with his mum, it's firework weekend, it's raining and getting cold!
Just to let you all know that Jake HAS been found safe and well albeit a little sore around the snozz. The story as we know it is he was stolen from his garden and taken away. A woman found him wandering down a lane near a pub and managed to catch him, get him in her car where she drove to the RSPCA. The RSPCA have done a wonderful job in taking care of him and he was very pleased to see me and Doc's lead this morning!
We arrived back at the kennels where he had breakfast and has enjoyed a restful afternoon and some special grub for tea! Jake has now been signed back over to us at WGW so he's a Hersham Hound again. He has a little something going on with his foot which is hopefully just a corn which we will treat and hopefully get him back to full health.
Jake is such a wonderful happy hound, he is also one VERY lucky hound to have been found so soon, it could have been so much worse! On behalf of Jake and everyone at WGW thank you all so very much for all the support and help in trying to find him, such a tremendous effort by everyone involved and what greyt community spirit!
Jake on the other hand has promised NEVER to go missing again and will have his pocket money docked for months to pay back the RSPCA xxx
