That last trial was grim !
Hills have priced him up on back of Easter cup form for he's heat !
I wonder if he's ready cos at one stage he wasn't coming !

yes, last trial was not so promising, hills gone 40/1 - 50/1.

no excuses if he cant progress from his heat i would have thought.

Czech and PF, think you was talking football Sunday morning and i missed the Derby draw to go Etihad. Lampard got a good send-off, Aguero Golden Boot, Hart Golden Gloves and silverware for youth and women's teams. Premiership runners-up too, so not a bad season. Oh, we beat Southampton 2-0, too! Happy. Hope you got the results you wanted.

Did i read correctly Czech and Patrick got runners in the Derby. If so, which ones and Czech, I'm ever so slightly warming to Salad Dodger. Maybe he's a dog who cant win a race only Derby finals! Laugh

Well, dont like the Yolo, Brogan, Trigger heat one little bit, but still been like a little boy in a candy shop mopping up. Getting exciting now Excited

Shame cant get 450 Glenpadden Rock, each-way. Needs to improve but has scope and looked better and faster than Rouge at Monmore and that's only 66/1. Very hard task but would love to see Barrie win it after Eden, Eske and Warhawk disappointments. Thought 350 Baliff Hubert and 410 See No Gamble fair enough and this 850 Judicial Review could be anything. This Farloe Blitz is a very fast hound, could be the best sprinter in Ireland, should burn most off and top price 25/1 Power is in my top 10 now. Coolavanny **** has lots of ability but cant back them all. Hope Riverside Pat goes very well for Miss Wales, too

Good luck!

Dunno whether to have a couple of quid on Coolavanny J a p. Should have won the Scottish Derby, imo. In for a penny, in for a pound! Laugh

Sportsbook:

2/5 British trained
7/4 Irish trained (doesnt seem right to me)

16/1 bitch to win

6/4 new track record
By:

When: 26 May 15 11:07
An Irish winner was 5/2 early doors with Billies Grin will definitely trade much shorter (odds on I would say)

The 6/4 track record is a knocking bet too, if Nidge leads Saturday can see him going sub 28:00
By:
woodmanchester
When: 26 May 15 11:11
In general, cant really see Nidge getting to the front til later stages against speedy Derby dogs

PF, are any of the Irish being based over here? Think Lister had Blaze last year, for example

They're all going to be based over there as far as I know, have not heard of any that are travelling back and forward when the competition starts

Only Nidge with Matt I think

Did she really? I thought she was based over there for the competition duration

Some used to travel back and forth if they only had the 1 runner for the first 2 rounds and then base themselves over there is making the last 32

You're right Fatty but dont think Derby as hot as previous ones, wide open and who would have thought Salad Dodger last year? At least Rock won the Monmore Puppy Derby. Bit young but place booked in Juvenile already? Monmore race thrown up some bright sparks and got more scope and potential than most. 500 but of an insult, imo

Thanks for all the good wishes gents.

Patrick

I'll be there on Thursday, watching through my fingers no doubt, and I'll try and catch up with you guys.

I know it's a cliché but qualification is all that matters. First 2 means absolutely no room for error or bad luck.

GLASGOWCALLING

Jeez - that's an old one. I think Outlaw Spice Boy was the start of Graham's love affair with Ireland. I was over at his "ranch" earlier in the year and it would be hard to find a better set-up. If hard work and dedication were the deciding factor the kennel would be winning the Derby every year.

That's certainly his forte, so to speak, but we fear he's a yard short of early and hasn't really run the bends that well up to now.

Be lucky.
