fattie the geyser weren't wrong on this occasion, it had the run of the race on the bunny and for me it was completely outclassed, no excuses, it was eights in the program and we thought it was a misprint

i made her a 7/2 shot many others made her a good bit shorter than me

I have no idea as to the quality of the other 5 dogs in that race but winning notts A1s should be a world away from a race on derby final night

as for that litter not one of them has been tried beyond 680, some of them wouldn't get 850 yards in a fookin ambulance, and there is absolutely nothing in the freaky patch line so I aint surprised she hasn't stayed, 10/1 was probably crazy but they were betting evens jesus christ still plenty of fish about

Just catching up with these threads now as have been away. Premier Fantasy you're being very harsh here. I could not see myself how the bitch could be so short. Where was the proof she would stay in against some proven, dour stayers? I spoke to some decent judges on track on the night who also could not have her. Ian Fortune who is no fool in his tissues on IGB site had her 8/1. For you to be saying someone should be sacked for putting up a price is a disgrace. Any firm or compiler who goes up first with prices gets my respect and Bet365 do it more than most. If they didn't do it so often where would we be getting our early prices to bet on. Most are copycat merchants. You seem to think you know it all and so i'm wondering to myself why you are not a compiler yourself?

You want to talk judges, Ted made the bitch 9/4 fav as he told me Friday night as i arrived in HRX and we where going through the prices at the bar, another real good judge with one of the books was on her too. She had done 18.95 the previous week in a trial behind Bittles Bar which you'd persume would mean she would go a long way clear but even after blowing the lids she could not hold Hi Dibbles to the 3rd bend which is just after the 350y line. She ran utterly pathetic, was beaten before stamina came into play.

Dunno BJG. But think PF says a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff. Dont think he was trying to get anybody sacked, but a talking point, as i said to a few before all this became a hoo-haw. He's right in as much why state a price only to lay it to a few quid for the big gamblers, who are only trying to make a living or make ends meet. Personally, i was happy with 7/2 beforehand but in retropect, if you ran the race again, must surely be a 33/1 chance?
