The original ante-post favourite for the ETS Irish Derby Roxholme Bully has been withdrawn from the second round due to injury.
Owen McKenna contacted Shelbourne Park this morning to withdraw the dog which sustained a dislocated toe in his Saturday night defeat.
He was due to run from trap three in Heat 5 and the revised line-up for this contest is:
1 Ballymac Vic, 2 Abbeyville Tipp, 3 Vacant, 4 Captain Scolari, 5 Bit Of Berlin, 6 El Flutter (m).

went in again on Roxholme after losing on the English Derby, I think they should have ran it in the English version when it was flying, after all, you don't get many chances to win a classic plus £100,000. as Robbie Burns once wrote," the best layed plans of mice and men, gang aft astray" cheers.

The Larry Mason trained Forest Ralph joined Owen McKenna’s Roxholme Bully as withdrawals from the ETS Irish Derby   


Forest Ralph sustained a stress fracture in his weekend heat and will miss Heat 14 on Saturday where he was due to wear the red jacket. These two defections bring the number of contenders down to 93 in advance of the second round which will be run on Thursday and Saturday nights.

Peter Traynor’s Lodgefield Turbo has been withdrawn from Heat 13 of the ETS Irish Derby at Shelbourne Park tomorrow night following veterinary examination. The dog has a back problem.
