had a small E/W bet on Millwards Joker
(250/1..1st 4),don't think he will win it
but might be one of those dogs who keep
sneaking through.
Lost one of my big hopes in Droopys Odell.

It astonished me how Woolie ran on after his first bend trouble - didn't think he had it in him.  Helped by Borneo's demise but he still showed the resolve and did it.  He looks well up to leading his heat up and then staying on.

My only bet is on General Wolf and he's in that heat. If Barzelona qualifies, Wolf probably won't.

Of the 103 dogs quoted on Hills list as of 30/1/14 only FIVE made it into the Qrtr Finals.

Is it me or didn't Thatchers Champ beat Fiery Splendour strictly on merit last time, but 14/1 as opposed to 5/2 Fiery? Think Nemesis wins the races anyway but looks quite a gulf between Thatchers and Fiery?

That's what recording new figures in the first round does for market sentiment woody.  Traps swopped on Tuesday - different race?  Stunned at Thatcher's - didn't rate it anywhere near as good as that run.

why would anyone want to take half the price in a harder race with a worse draw in betting thatchers. if you didnt bet it saturday you have missed the boat imo

Fiery flew out first two rounds and record breaking times but never used to in Ireland and think 3rd round his standard start really. Nemesis sleepers either side. Reckon will be going on before the bend and Thatchers follow him round?

Every one of them is now out of the derby. Since the start of the competition you have backed another ten at least , can you please explain how you have made a profit on this strategy ?

Had my chances with Freeze, Kereight and Vic. Some never even made it like Eske and Rhythmm. Thought Fiery, Spy, Rooney and Silva would have still been in it, book would have looked an awful lot better but not meant to be my year Derby-wise . Hope Irish Derby turns out better for me.

PS, really have absolutely no idea how some of these dogs have reached the semis?!

After trading some Nemesis, already made a profit this year and book, all green, now shows £90.10 Netty, £75.79 Crokers, £65.20 Trent and £5.40 the rest.

Worked out well in the end. Got some stick and did go mad backing so many but with laying too, obviously I backed at prices above their station.
