He's good to watch all right. He absolutely flew into the 3rd bend last night.

its all very well having dogs like this and farloe tango in the derby but how would you feel if your dog was impeded by such an animal and lost the race or qualification as a consequence......if they are not straight they should avoid competitions and nick opens where they can be moved around and kept interested....

It's one thing having a dwell up and another making contact. If he has not received a red card then he should be allowed to enter all comps imo.

agree those are the rules but whats the point putting dogs in a situation where quick runs...potential poor draws and familiarity will be encountered.......its a selfish act if they are either marked awkward or disqualified during the competition...ruining somebody else's dream...

Holdem Spy,
first reaction watching race was,
nine bob note red card waiting to happen,

but you can watch most of his races on greyhound data
and he does NOTHING WRONG

everybody deserves benefit of doubt,
after-all he only lost,and that's not a crime

starr,im not gonna go through all his races(i have every career run of the dog) and itemise each indiscretion but at some point or other, before last night, the dog has dwelled in front, bumped dogs he didnt need to,fought like a tiger after the line,to me thats not doing "nothing  wrong" and this bol0x about owners saying where the sand burn happened is just that,so the dogs action changed off the last bend, yes thats right it did,he slammed the anchors on!

Ive never heard so much rubbish in my life that a split web cost a dog a race,at the rate adrenalin is coursing through them during a race they will try and run with a broken back as they dont feel it at the moment it happens.

The Dog is  flying machine, but a flying machine with a kink...
I wouldn't run him in the Derby, think more of switching him every run....
I didn't have a bet in the race, but he's worth backing at 5/1 against "Derby Dogs" but
I wouldn't back him short against decent open class...
It is a shame, I wish he wasn't but unfortunately the greyhound is a "dodge"
I've owned a couple of them myself, both fast, but not as fast as this one!!! Sad

spy had a very nasty web injury more like a spiking than trap injury

I agree with Patrick's post 100% and I believe the main reason they keep him at Coventry is because he normally behaves himself there.

I couldn't for one minute envisage him working his way through 5 or 6 rounds of The Derby unscathed but if the owners are on at big prices then I guess we'll get to find out.
