I know many, many others have commented on this on another thread, but I need the powers that be to read this and realise that the live races are giving me a headache with all the constant chopping and changing. Sad

It's the 1st show and there will be teething issues, but several of the cameramen need to be sacked, or retrained!

The first own goal was the overhead start on the sprint...you need to always see the traps head on at the start....anyone disagree?

The second own goal is having the camerman far too close to the traps in the other races meaning there is a shot change almost instantly, so if a dog misses the break and another flies the traps, we'll lose all perspective & miss the latter.

The third own goal is far too many closeups Whoops particularly at the bends when you constantly lose several of the dogs out of shot which is totally unacceptable...you HAVE to be able to see all dogs at all times somewhere in the shot...try backing a finisher which is at the back but starting to close and then you completely lose sight of it for several seconds, and you can imagine how I wanted to throw something at the TV! Angry

Finally, do the budget cuts really mean you have to go back to the '90s and go back to Standard Def cameras instead of HD???

i couldnt agree more hove. as stated on the other thread the MOST important part of the whole show is the camera coverage. it is really quite simple we want to see all 6 dogs at all times with as little as possible angle changes.just have one camera tracking the dogs all the way round or one for the home straight and one for the back straight. it really isnt rocket science !!

It seems to me that the cameramen just have no idea of how to show this sport. I could barely follow that sprint race what with aerial shots and head ons. It really is poor.
