Nans Turbo draws blue in Friday's RPGTV final

PAMS TOMJO (7-1) proved a real boon for bookmakers by scoring a surprise victory in heat three of the Coral on TV Standard over 400m at Romford.

Lil Risky and Rio Torino were sent off 11-10 joint-favourites but the Wayne Wrighting-trained Pams Tomjo pinged from trap four and quickly took command.

Lil Risky paced up well and went off in pursuit only to be forced to check when challenging at the third bend as Pams Tomjo went on to hold his rally by a length in 24.25sec (-10).

Quickest time of the night came in heat two where Ernie Gaskin’s Nans Turbo drew clear from hallway to win in 24.22sec, while Peter Goodfellow’s Wajas Trump cut right across his field from trap four in the opener and was always in charge as he scored in 24.50sec.
