just rang betfair they will be not covering it and being as the high street wont take a bet either looks as if the only way to have a bet is to attend

Harry is convinced we have the best, most knowledgeable, straight and informative betting product in the sport and the live streaming is a good way of getting it out and showing it.
As everybody knows he personally much prefers the Betfair exchange product to the current fixed odds options and because of this there is always a chance that we could work together but ultimately Harry's faith still lies in our own Tote system which takes out only 14.5% in the win pool and 10% in the place pool.
Very shortly and as early as next week we will have a direct link from live pictures on www.covdogs.com straight into out Tote pools.
We are also likely to be reducing the win pool retention to 13.5% and when we do we give our promise that unlike Betfred it will never go back up!
Harry is astounded that more people within the Industry, especially the greyhound media aren't making more of the fact that the other tracks are still taking out 29-30% from all their pools and that the apathy to this fact is what is slowly but surely strangling our sport to death

As Harry is relying on his own tote rather than a deal with Betfair switching the time of his meetings is crazy.The 5.15 start will slaughter his on course turnover and the shorfall will not be made up by people at home betting into the tote.Imo its a good thing Harry is a sucess as a punter because it looks like he has a lot to learn about running a business.

ALL race meetings from Coventry are now being streamed live and free of charge, with promoter Harry Findlay yesterday confident that the service will improve from its debut on Tuesday, when some were unable to view the stream.
Findlay said: “We were surprised and caught out by how many people tried to watch the races on Tuesday, but it was only meant as a dummy run.
“The picture quality is the best in the world – people have been watching it crystal clear on 55-inch screens. With little else going on these pictures will end up going everywhere.”
From this Tuesday (first race 5.15pm) punters will be able to bet into the track’s tote pools via a direct link into 24dogs.com. Coventry will also be providing a free video archive of previous races at the track.
“I’m assured that everything will be in place for next Tuesday’s meeting,” added Findlay. “Being alongside the other tracks on 24dogs whose totes I consider at best to be a joke I’m more than confident it’s a good shop window for our low tote retentions.”

To really take off there needs to be markets on here. With free videos everyone can be a "judge" if they are willing to put the time in.
