Harry is convinced we have the best, most knowledgeable, straight and informative betting product in the sport and the live streaming is a good way of getting it out and showing it.

As everybody knows he personally much prefers the Betfair exchange product to the current fixed odds options and because of this there is always a chance that we could work together but ultimately Harry's faith still lies in our own Tote system which takes out only 14.5% in the win pool and 10% in the place pool.
Very shortly and as early as next week we will have a direct link from live pictures on www.covdogs.com straight into out Tote pools.

We are also likely to be reducing the win pool retention to 13.5% and when we do we give our promise that unlike Betfred it will never go back up!

Harry is astounded that more people within the Industry, especially the greyhound media aren't making more of the fact that the other tracks are still taking out 29-30% from all their pools and that the apathy to this fact is what is slowly but surely strangling our sport to death

As Harry is relying on his own tote rather than a deal with Betfair switching the time of his meetings is crazy. The 5.15 start will slaughter his on course turnover and the shorfall will not be made up by people at home betting into the tote.Imo its a good thing Harry is a sucess as a punter because it looks like he has a lot to learn about running a business.
The good thing about Harry is that he is having a go,its just a pity he seems to be making a few too many duff decisions viz Sat am meeting, changing race days and start times, championing opens then dropping them.LOOKS LIKE HES MAKING IT UP AS HE GOES ALONG.

beeb

Anyone betting on 24dogs, and they have turnover into the millions, is betting into the track tote pools.

nor mine but fair play. This is the start of a way forward, although still think RPGTV already has the platform for mass viewers

I think Harry is on there in the coming week? I remember the days of his column in the RP and The Four Amigos' letters every week!

coventry might do a bit better if they bothered to answer the phone
sat i phoned up to book a table for 4 in restaurant no answer  coventrys loss was monmores gain shame as i wanted to try coventry even tho it was only a graded card

sombody should tell harry bt do a dirvert package from landline-mobile costs about £15 p/month im sure the money hes invested in coventry another £15 a month would be money well spent
