bit tight on the price for me fattie, but you are right, ran brilliantly the other night by the look of it and with rain currently its price will get worse.... we'll let woody to put that one up eh !   Cry

The results where not as mad as some where making out the other night (namely the sky crew who can't see past any fav), the last 2 results where a bit funny but the final for instance i thought Maldini would have won had Jack not done him a few times in running.

If you look at the televised races:

Billis Renegade - 2nd fav and won because the fav decided to fight instead of chase (he had previous)
Westmead Bertie - 3rd fav who followed around Ardkill Star and picked him up, this was the furthest Ardkill Star had ever gone
Glanmire Lad - odds on fav who beat Lil Risky 2nd fav
Droopys Reason - 3rd fav made use of the draw, the fav walked out and was beat then, a load of trouble at the bend
Aero Rebel - thought it was a good thing, couldn't fail to lead the inside
Ballintine Molly - 3rd fav smashed and beat the 2 favs, she was not getting picked up once leading
Avit On Bertha - beat Carden Twilight, fair enough couldn't see this result. However the fav Express Trend ran lika a camel in Shelbourne the previous week and Bubbly Swallow walked out and got trouble
Star Cash Simon - smashed and led (that was possible) and the others got in each others way repeatidly

the results were those of a typical "open" friday night imho, the presenters on RPGTV will tell you how hard the cards are, they have to put up with it week in week out, rarely do they end up in front. Its so open that I queried where the draws were made a few weeks ago, allegedly at GBGB HQ I was told, but I don't believe it.

thats the great thing about greyhound racing people see and fancy different dogs 8.18 melodic speed as run like a drain so far cant bet it until it gets a clear run, courts ad nina is flying i agree but borna monty is faster with a clear run i am a little bias seeing i bet it in a graded first time up at 7t2 but i rate this dog will do 23.90 odd but is still learning but this will be the best in a great litter

star cash simon also went into the competition fresh from a bout of kennel sickness and was always going to get stronger throughout......the trainer prepared this dog perfectly even putting a further quick race into the dog between the first two rounds.......he said so in the early pre-race interview but the sky team had smiler jack in their eyes for various reasons and were snowblind.......

the transformation of Star Cash Simon from 23 Nov onwards is truly astonishing. The way he got out and particularly how he powered up the run up is completely different to what he has done virtually all year.

I'm 20 miles from Romford and it's absolutely been p***ing down al a.m but looks to have stopped for a bit now

just seen your post Winja. Simon struggled to win A1's at Yarmouth and poor quality mickey mouse opens all summer.

Only want to be with the outside 3 in the final. Really like Karma, but very hard draw. Looks impossible to oppose bottom, who, as said below, will go off closer to evens I reckon. Small bet on bottom, with 6 x 5 , 6 x 4 cast.

Once again last night showing that if you dont mention the nap name on here it wins. Sorry to all those who agree with me tonight

8.02 centurion may @ 4/1, should lead round and prove hard to catch

thats my only fancy at romford Surprised

8.10 sunderland piper dubarry @ 4/1, go clear and hold on
8.42 sunderland dilly celt @ 9/2, chances to lead, 2 danger if turning close

more of a watching night IMO, will be playing race to race small ( mostly lays ) but no strong early fancies like normal.

good luck all.

Having seen the after race interview, with the gushing trainer , how well had he done with Simon ? Almost thought the reaction was  too genuine, in comparison with Sir Charlie and Nick Savvas, "well what the feck did you expect" interviews ! Laugh

also now backed Brinkleys in the last at 11-4. Needs 6 really but this is a downgrade and his last 3 runs will all see him right there come the line. Would make him 6-4 in stripes so happy to take the chance for small stakes.

Im going for a wide fest tonight.

Courts Flyer 7/2
Fabulous Lauren 4/1
Romeo Dasher 12/1
Captain Hook 8/1

Doubles, trebles and an accy.Small interest that could return big and reasoning behind it is they all run earlyish in the card and they are the only respective wides in their races and a bias would massivelly reduce the odds of it landing. Will probably play tonight on the unders and see what happens.
