Apparently freezing conditions in Essex, so will have to wait and see how it goes.
If all's well, personally dont like marathons or hurdles so giving them a wide berth. Also giving the swerve to the 750m because Express Trend had over 7 lengths in hand over Bubbly Swallow last time they met but subsequently went out like a light over 750yds in Dublin. Poor draw too and Pantone Ava, although capable on occasions like Swallow, puts in the odd stinker.
So, down to business. You would have to go a long way to see a better Maiden Stayers race, imo. Bansha Mo not certain to get home and Bertie, although chances on best Eclipse form, has something to prove, imo. That makes the bet 15/8 Ardkill Star, who has a good Irish card and trialled well, Bansha not looked yet, over four bends

Hard to get away from 4/5 Glanmire Lad (NAP). Flying at present and improved lots since winning the Puppy Cup, imo. Lil Risky won a competition at Monmore but the times werent that great, imo. Nans Turbo doesnt look ready yet.
Ayamzaman came unstuck last time and needs to look sharp at the start or it could be curtains again, step in 5/1 Droopys Reason, worth the risk as only other real contender Millwards Matt ran dismally at Belle Vue, although has subsequently won a comp at Poole. Good Luck! |

Aero Rebel - Has some good form around here having won over 575m and 750m, i don't think the extra distance will be any problem at all. It will either lead or follow Coolavanny Fairy around and i think will take it up early enough and i can see her destroying these.
Lenson Ginger - Got his draw in 1 with average away Risky Rosaleen beside him, only worry would be Proper Cat cutting across him on the bend but he can go up as well as him if getting the start right. Price looks huge, King Lauchlan in 4 has been running over further and doesn't look great early, Bubbly Jaytee is the most overrated pig (poosibly ever) around and Ballintine Molly doesn't run Romford as well as Wimbledon. Looks a match to me with Proper Cat and drawn inside him i want to be with Ginger. Planning - 5 railers and Planning (w). Mountjoy Orion fast away and bang rails in 5, Star Cash Simon fast up in 4, Smilar Jack fast up in 3 and Brave The Times fast up when getting it right in 2, looks made for trouble on the inside. All this should give Planning an absolute solo out wide and unless something gets loose on the inside he could build up a big lead. Maldini in 1 would be a danger if getting a run but with all these railers ahead of him there has to be a doubt he will. |

Good luck PF. At my expense, Rebel didnt come away in her last marathon and beaten fair and square by the 5 dog. Fairy could be the "spoiler" too. Hope she does destroy them for you, has got plenty of ability, but it all looks very unpredictable to me (as marathons often are).

Rebel was crapp at Notts. Although running all over the bends the money was never goin to be landed. Id rather watch although appreciate leading will make all the difference. Would love to be with PP, who was bet of the year when winning the 925 here last time but she has shown nothing, even after the line, for ages.
Glenmire Lad - please can I have evens, wont see which way he goes. Incredible trapper. The rest is interesting but difficult. Do think Ava is huge at 9-2, she isnt that to lead. |

8.50 like aero rebel to hopefully be prominent, think will get trip, and think PP will need to come through a lot of dogs and get luck to do so - rather bowl along in front around here. 9.10 like proper cat at 4s dont think molly likes rommers that much to be honest, plus going probably against her. 9.25 betting swallow, laying trend possibly. if outsides not disadvanted will have some on paulines pride too. final itself, need all luck in the world but i love maldini around here. will have to have a small interest. |

7.20 trap 3 is far too big, hasnt won for 12 at least, and in the ping box, value now let alone at 30's or 40's just before the race 7.35 melanie is the value bet here but would respect more money for millwards Will go for a few more after the bias factor can be cancelled out completely .... you might have to wait a long time  |

Had to back Ava with cash at Billys - 9/2? Cant believe it stayed there all day, are you nuts? Can easily lead here , or take the tight rails route round the first couple. Am sitting on my hands re Glanmire Lad, no idea whether to press go or not. GL all, especially Maldini who gives me 2 months wages if winning tonight
