Going estimated +20 fast at yesterday afternoon's meeting and didnt seem any bias.

Here's some to watch out for Settler:

8.14 Catunda Valerie. Has her red jacket yet again and may resume winning ways.

8.47 Nervous Vicky. Winner without a penalty, so gets the green light to double up.

9.02 Finmars Dream. Wins fair share, chance to add to recent gains.

9.17 Best dogs on the card in this A2 but looks a very tricky race. However, Yvonne Bell is a

that should read: Yvonne Bell is a good trainer and Hather Reason may run well.

Doubt many will be there with it being an evening BAGS meeting but good luck and have fun!

Oh Settler, if Sunderland is anything like Belle Vue there will be no money in the Tote pools so even if you win, you may only get your stake back. Best to bet with the track bookmakers. One final tip: Get plenty of ale down your neck, that way if you dont win anything at you least you will have gained a throbbing head in the morning, unless youre driving, of course! Laugh

+20 yesterday woody but there wasn't any rain then, also tracks made as fast as poss for bags track champ imo

can you give me a 100 words on the 7.16 Swindon, you got 1 minute to look at the form and i still reckon you could do it Wink

Thank you all for the advice. Just looked at the card and I agree somewhat with WOODMANCHESTER....Finmars Dream (9:02) looks a bet. I also fancy a couple in the handicaps.....6 in the 7:27 and 2 in the 9:30.

Lots of rain about so might go wide tonight...........oh and yes I will be backing with the Bookies tonight

its how he rolls Irish, better to have a solid opinion on a few things rather than a very weak opinion on everything... Crazy

I like the look T2 Big Tune in the 20.14.Downgraded and a good chance to clear the red and follow 3 round and pounce at a nice price.

Think you got Blue Scout in the 9.30, Settler. Well done, hope it was your biggest bet. Winners always difficult to find at BAGS meetings, mug's game
Report irishone November 21, 2012 9:40 PM GMT
Mug's game Woody, yet you played and it made a mug of you, what was it ? nil out of 4.
The man who goes week in week out tips "take a raincoat", doesn't venture a tip, I bet he was right ! Laugh
Report woodmanchester November 21, 2012 9:48 PM GMT
Yeah, thought i'd chance my arm but should have known better with BAGS. You must be good to get lots of BAGS winners Irish, seeing as youre adamant you dont arb, like everyone else
Report irishone November 21, 2012 10:15 PM GMT
I dont arb on Bags mate
Had a few good arbs on here though this year, posted all of them up as well, Usa on the ryder cup, rioja at cork recently and of course the richard hughes/ryan moore top jockey battle (that was a 95% as I recall). At the end of the day its one over on the bookies and free money, wouldn't begrudge anyone that. Arbing on Bags must be one helluva rush, talk about stress in the last minute when the prices eventually come through. Too old and too slow to be able to handle the technology and according to what you hear on here, your accounts would be closed pdq. So no future in it . Laugh

another classic from woody, "bags a mugs game" no its just the hardest playing field those with no vision and limited talent need not bother

hardest playing fields generally give out out the most rewards imo Cool
Report woodmanchester November 22, 2012 12:14 AM GMT
Yes Czech, and how often have you backed the Grand National winner recently? Tongue Out.

Point taken Irish but what gets me is how some people can bet in running?

Anyway, i'm running a book: Greatest Woody-hater

1/2 Irish
2/1 Shaneboy
6/1 Czech
20/1 Addy

Laugh
Report Czechbet November 22, 2012 8:42 AM GMT
as usual you miss the point shock horror! if i was into horses the same level as dogs with a solid bank of knowledge i would be happy to try and find value bets in the grand national

your just a stubborn fool set in ways of constantly losing trying your hardest to pick winners regardless of price, not even believing some people can make really good profits let alone taking on board any helpful advice they may try and give you

i feel sorry for you don't hate you
Report woodmanchester November 22, 2012 9:06 AM GMT
Okay Czech, no need to feel sorry, just a bit of fun. We all have our own ways of doing things.

Regarding having no strong opinion and lots of weak ones, i just take an interest that's all. Should i have a strong opinion, not too often, it goes NAP or NB on here.

7/4 Islas Scolari looking close to good bet material at the odds tonight, but that's just my opinion. Just feel it's a better than fair price, knocking your i dont consider the price into a c*cked hat.

Got a strong view on another at Henlow but waiting for a decent price. Might let you in on it later Wink

Before anyone gets the wrong impression from this comment, Woody didn't get the Grand National winner either (Bally hi) Laugh

Report Czechbet November 22, 2012 10:02 AM GMT
no tears woody, if you put an opinion and a price "you make it/would back it at" even i cant complain lol

for future reference tho please never think i am interested in your opinion, its just you fill the forum up so much i'd rather you did it half right Wink
