Sorry PF, all that registered was not bring to Shelbourne, still early!
.Howabout Grand Crus today? |
|
By:
Don't worry about it, i've done the same and read things wrong before.
![]() I think Grand Crus is too short now, Long Run got beat in this race off a similar mark the year he won the King George and Gold Cup although he usually needs a run to bring him on. He looks ridicolously well in considering what Silviniaco Conti did in the Charlie Hall but it's still a tough race. Most likely winner and could well hack up but at the prices i'd rather not play. I bet Forpadydeplasterer @ 33/1 e/w the other day, think he's on a very good mark, still retains plenty of ability and likes Cheltenham. Just wanted the rain to stay away which it hasn't so confidence has gone down a fair bit, hopefully he can still run a place for me. |
|
By:
you'd have to be nuts to take 5/2 in a 20 runner handicaps at chelters, I've thrown a few quid at divers and kingsmere
|
|
By:
Thanks and good luck.
Despite nightmares of Cheltenham, still a big Grand Crus fan. Hills were going priority odds 4/1 but not accepting and when i phoned, told it was a limited offer, waste of time in other words. Just this instant saw 5/2 with James, but it was Scotch mist. Had to go with 9/4. Saw money back if your horse 2nd to Grand Crus betting with the Racing Post app, but dunno what that is, thought it was short for appointment! |
|
By:
Not totally disagreeing with you Wonder, but many are just making up the numbers and have little chance of getting into it
|
|
By:
divers is a non-runner now
of course grands crus can win but how much is he priced on pipe's record in the race? (9 in total, but 8 by his dad, at the time renowned for getting his horses uber fit whereas a lot of others weren't) |
|
By:
Could be an exceptional day if Crus wins, City beat Villa and Fletch and Xavier win tonight!

Missus gone for Al Ferof, dont fancy it. Would have given Hunt Ball a chance but for drifting like a barge
|
|
By:
al ferof lost his confidence last season, so this is the last race you want to be running in imo
hunt ball should run his race, priced accordingly |

Coral latest betting Eclipse
5/2 Mags 7/2 Tango 7/1 Fantasy 7/1 Sky 12/1 Sawpit 12/1 Bluehawk 14/1 Recruit 16/1 Paddy 20/1 bar 20/1 George. Sorry i didnt have a couple of quid at 75/1 now |
|
By:
cant decide if im happy to be on tango or not! didnt see last nights race, and i think i remember him being in the "easiest" semi final but jesus christ someone stick some head gear on him.

anybody think boher paddy overpriced at 16s got to overcome trap4 but if he can repeat sectional got everychance leading and cutting across if he gets in final cant see him going off bigger than 4s if drawn trap1
i didnt see first round heats so just card reading |
|
By:
Really think Paddy is too long in the tooth now to win a Cat One. Still like the dog and retains some ability but had loads and loads of chances when he was at his very best and younger. Bertie nearly caught him in the heats but wouldnt be surprised if Paddy reached the final.
Yeah, missus different class to me. At least City beat Villa 5-0! |

woody who was that guy kept stealing your limelight at the zoo? he was a magnet to the sky camera
|
|
By:
PP, he can smash from 4 but I'm disappointed with the draw
![]() |
|
By:
Dunno Pairs, wasnt he one of Warhawk's owners? He's welcome to the limelight anyway. Not the place to get all suited and booted

No strong views but rooting for Mags Gamble at 10.5 antepost on here, Betfair.
Three great and intersting semis, with all runners well known. Mags faces some worthy rivals in Sawpit, Bluehawk and Whittle. Sky has Fantasy and Paddy to beat and who knows what Tango will do? From a selfish point of view could do with Mags qualifying and going for the big win in the final, with Sky and Tango out, but no malice intended Good luck if youre having a dabble |
|
By:
want to back longwood 9/4 but got to stop backing nut jobs there costing me dear!
Also might play the Romeo dog inside (tango and stop) at 4/1 |
|

standout mags 40-1 for the derby with laddys
![]() |
|
By:
You backing him Irish or is it just another wind up from the Emerald Isle like PF. Watch, I'll get to the Night of Stars and it wont be taking place!
![]() |
|
By:
yes woody had a nibble
very impressed with one of its recent runs quarter final material if it gets there |
|
By:
Quite like SS or Tb to turn Mags over. Quite an ask but Whittle can be a right pain when trapping and whilst I love Mags, its all about the prices isn't it?
|
|
By:
Irish, Mags has become a consistent high-flier quite late in his career. Derby next year put back and wondering how close he will be to a veteran dog then?
Good luck though |
|
By:
very much looking forward to these semis, mags odds on with pace up its inner
1 has a nice make-up to track pace and pick up any pieces/qualify |
|
By:
chance 1/6, middle is chock full of early

mags gamble out
massive trouble at the 3rd bend ( comms only ) |
