Wouldnt put you off Ding Fatty, seeing as Swabys looked paceless more than anything in first round and particularly disappointing. Ding needs to be well away though.

Got Robles antepost and all over bar the shouting if starting like last week. Think can come from behind too, worthy outright fav now. Some big-priced runners could go well in this Quarter. Romeo Patrol, third to Mr Chow and Express Trend in the Regency and Coolavanny Fairy could both be up there and run better than market suggests.

Blonde Fletch, backed him a long time ago antepost, only has one chance, away and gone but a the prices, i'd favour him to hold Express Trend, who's not got red this time and not certain to start so well as in the first round.

Got Ballyard Buddy antepost too, but only a saver. Can step up on last week's run, imo and would be disapppointed if he fails to qualify. Quite like Droopys Xavier and tempted to have a little go 14/1. Could kick on if breaking tonight and may not be easy to peg back, with Bubbly Swallow not certain to reproduce last run and Peggys Style too late.

only real opinion for me is the 1st race reckon airforce haarlem and romeo explosion are overpriced. haarlem good chance to lead inside here and well drawn. romeo explosion slow away last week showed a lot of pace down the back into 3rd bend before checking up and running on again, dont know why he is double figure prices to be honest. in theory molly leads him so he ought to have room around the turn.

not saying youre wrong wonders but i think fletch might be in front of her after a couple of bends he still has ridiculous 4 bend pace. there is every chance he will be a price tonight and i might end up backing. in a 2 dog trial at evens the pair id favour trend, but thats not the case here and there would be every chance blonde fletch might be 7/2 tonight with trend in at evens.......if he is that price i would have to play.

Well done with Molly Addy. I had peanuts on her months and months ago at 66/1, didnt give her a hope going into the competition, so never mentioned it. Very game.

Robles fell out and flopped but did say Patrol a big price and could run better than odds suggested.

Great run by Fletch to overhaul Trend, then hold on.

Peggys always going to b hard to beat when bang there early. Buddy safely through but not coming away and lack of early zest a concern. Xavier didnt do the buisso for me, another missing the kick, but keeps qualifying. Was 40/1 before last night.

cheers woody, i got an antepost voucher 100 ew at 66/1 i did back in july after reaching grand prix final, id given up on that, think the terms were 1/4 first 6 back then but will double check if i need to...........saturday does look incredibly tough though and cant see us leading that bar an absolute smash break - i do think there will be all sorts of trouble in the race at bend i dont see buddy getting a run and thats probably what needs to happen for us to go through.

Ding Hero looks a decent price e/w at this stage, has drawn the better of the 2 heats and should be leading the inside and if doing so i find it hard not to see him in the final.
