there are around 28,000 bags races every year, operating at a long term strike rate of 10%, you can expect a losing run up of around 90

Wonders is quite correct (IMO) about the losing run likelihood

I recall looking at a website once which gives those kinds of chances

people notice it when they come in, particularly when they are clustered, nobody opens their trap when they lose race after race after race

its called variance

5 at a big price here at the green for me.Draws a negative but wouldnt be half the price if it was in 6 imo so worth chancing at the price.

12.04 think T3 is massive should clear 1n2 then get after 6

its very difficult to make sense of greyhound stats thought, as when reported that x % of favourites win, that is based on the returned sp fav on course, which we all know not to be the true favourite

Spot on wonders.Had some terrible runs in my time tbf.

I'm not using greyhound stats based on SP, I'm using what you said to be the approximate strike rate of winning rags (1 in 10 = 10%), optimistic imo but that's another point altogether

perhaps 1 in 10 is too optimistic, but i cant believe we would sit here over a day and a halfs bags racing without witnessing 1 rag go in which is roughly 90 races

that's not my point, most days you get rags coming in, I'm saying over a year (around 28,000 bags races) it is almost certain there will 1 day without any rags winning, and plenty of sequences of losers up to 80, more so 70s, even more in 60s, etc. 28,000 is a lot of races

You think this 3 is progressing enough to win again wonders?????I had it too short lto and it blew in.Looks as though a repeat willwin this and might even improve further?7/4 or 2s seems about the correct price to me????

By:

By:

prefer 1/5
