Is nobody going to price this up?
By:
Cashmans probably will be first up with prices, as they are local, I'm sure.............only 66 runners and loadz of them have little or no chance, also probably be a few non runners as well, as they may not all have been entered.Changing times as I think they often got 96 in past Laurels. The 525 yard trip will suit the derby runner up and he must have big chance and be one of the obvious favs in the outright.
By:
Hopefully a few will price it up in the coming days as it should not be that difficult for them with so much available form.
I would think Cougar will be and with his plum draw Rankin is likely to be prominent in the betting as well. |

Some1 better get prices up b4 the 1st round!

I don't know anyone could be on a dog for anything yet as I have seen no prices.
By:
Lads .... i've not seen prices either but my dosh will be on, i have never seen a dog run cork like that last year, swear it was running under the rail at the 3rd bend. I am lucky enough to be able to get prices from johnny mulls over here he gave me 500-1 a dog to win the english derby two years ago 6 months before , it never even qualified. There's another brilliant bookie in Galway who will give you a price on anything , fahey is his name. Mate of mine has one lined up for clonmel and he will be on before the prices are made public. Flood in Cork is another who will accomodate you I heard.

Think Irish right, Rioga chances. Hard to get away from Cougar though, if he aint burnt himself out and Ballymac Vic is the other class act, hard heat though. Imp was right up there at the bend in the Derby and better suited to this trip. Jumbo was pushing Warhawk hard until bump put paid to his chances, also Derby final night. Same night, good performances from Knockglass Billy and Allen Master. Very good competition

Just had a couple of little interests on big outsiders. 66/1 Cornamaddy Jumbo each-way. Can dip well below 2 secs for the 525yds split at Shelbourne and although only a puppy against seasoned performers, dogs leading him up should be very few and far between.
33/1 Allen Master. Clocked a creditable 28.38 when winning Derby final night and could be slightly over-priced |
By:
Heat 10 looks so good, was looking at Shaneboy Spencer on the early prices till i noticed the heat it was in. BUGGER
By:
First dart fired.
Camas Crash at 12s. Maybe someone else will go bigger but I have played on the basis that the others will not get off their backsides and price it up. |
By:
Only trouble with Irish competitions like this, 11 heats and probably 4th placed qualifiers, makes it a long, drawn out affair lasting about 4 weeks?, with sometimes only little changes in the betting until nearer the conclusion
By:
I assuming that 4 qualify an and then the 4 fastest 5th place dogs.
It will be a 5 week competition in that case! |
By:
Gosh, it will nearly be my birthday then, at the end of October! lol
By:
.....read the rules before having a bet..it helps.....
By:
Surprised with your Allen Master bet given your comments about Tyrur Sugar Ray.
While not as dependent on trap 1 as TSR, Allen Master certainly goes for the inner quickly and will be badly compromised by middle-outside draws. |
By:
Just thought he did well Derby night and has won from T6 in the past, so take the rough with the smooth

By:
Is killbarry rover a non starter igb as it on there cards but no prices? Name change?
By:
He's a non-runner Fattie. Reserve might run
By:
shame he's non runner was in top gear last few weeks!
took 20/1 TOCK home track lightly raced old boy, the draws going to be key with him and most ! might add one or two befor kick off tonight! |

Did jumbo get a red card cos its not in the draw u have posted
By:
Yes the Jumbo dog had his card held , pending running two clearance trials.
By:
Jeez thought he run off only didn't know he was raving I was taking the piss
That's two gone feeling little hard done by, the barefoot thing as to stop, starters need to do there job to the max what's the point having them checking on the draw TOCK got a nice one but needs to come away better than he did last night even if that was hot heat Shaneboy spencer as it do with vic on its inside |
By:
Knockglass Billy impressive and fastest but Ballymac Vic still a worthy favourite, imo. Razldazl Rioga was reeled in by a flying Liveanddangerous, but think Rioga could turn the tables next time. Barefoot Allstar turned in traps, unlucky Fatty and unlucky to us both with Cornamaddy Jumbo, thought Irish racing managers were a bit more lenient with youngsters? Seen dogs blatently fighting right in front of the judge before, but no action taken! Catching the eye were Money Talks and Boherna House. Happy enough with Allen Master.
Some competitions tickle me. No idea why Power of God should have qualified. Coolykereen Imp and Swift Marathon, as examples, finished 5th too, but out?! ![]() |

By:
How is Power of God's qualification a mystery?
The rules were clear before the event. |

True, just dont seem fair to me and dunno the solution. Maybe less dogs and a round less?
