Droopys Loner @ 5/1 - Level break she leads the inside and could go a mile clear here. She doesn't get 480m well but with the make up of the race she may just get a long enough lead to stay in front this time. Mill Bling Bling should turn 2nd on the inside but i haven't been impressed with him and i'd question whether he'd go by anyway. Mark My Words and Westmead Maldini will more than likely get too far behind. On the outside i think they'd be better drawn the opposite way around. Go Go Sonic will turn right from boxes where as Geoff edges in approaching the bend. Geoff has been showing huge pace from the 2nd but i don't think he's been going up that well and i could see him possibly taking a whack at boxes. If he doesn't clear Sonic early he could be just held up enough to let Loner get away and she may not be for catching this week.

Firstly, Hills can stick their 1/5 JFK where the sun dont shine! . Highly unlikely to produce another 4.63s split and less than 3 lengths in hand over Adonis from the 1st round. Add to that, Skywalker Gold, good sprint form when 2nd to Jumeirah Dubai at Shawfield, capable of pinging middle and Sykes, big at 9/1, capable of picking up the pieces if others falter, i would much rather be a layer than a player.

On the other hand, 4/5 Bubbly Phoenix looks a good bet to get favourite backers off to a flier in the opening heat. You Mind Me and Snap ought to vie for early supremacy but Phoenix likely to be hard to hold when push comes to shove. Longwood Hawk is well drawn but too late.

Rioga will be looking to be away and gone again but Maximus could be on the premises throughout also. McGee knows what it takes to win the Premier Classic, successful in 1988 with Hit The Lid, Ruthless Man is improving and respected. Lorenzo is struggling to repeat his 28.33s win of April 7th.

Boher Paddy keeps getting dream draws on the fence and, arguably the best all-rounder in this year's Derby, should be hard to contain again. Kennelmate Bucks Blade seems to have changed his style of running. Used to be all action from the traps, staying on nowadays, must be considered and watch out for the time if he comes away! Lister's 3rd string Cruise could be heading out, just like Chieftain when Charlie last had 3 in one heat.

2011 Derby winner and Greyhound of the Year Taylors Sky needs no introduction. He had a soft 2nd round and wouldnt be surprised if Charlie did nothing with him. At 7/4, fancied to be more forward this time, can show his true colours Saturday. Jaytee Pedro, formerly known as Coolavanny Pedro, has been very impressive and rates the danger. Scottish Derby winner Allstar needs to get clear and although firmly put in his place by Judicial Ruling last time, Sid adds spice to a red-hot heat.

What a smashing concluder, which smacks of a strong Irish flavour. Only one winner if Judicial reproduces his last run, could be a bit special. Bugatti needs to kick on in front, while Nova is unbeaten thus far. Tyrur Justin, known as Cabra Noel before the Master took his lead, improved. Looked unlucky and right in the mix, where something must give!

PF has previewed heats 3 and 7 and i wouldnt like to disagree with him. Bit wary of Loner though, she aint been getting home and i noted Geoff rather unlucky in the 2nd round.

Also, yes, Bert could be bowling along in front but Jet set to get a nice tow and if running the bends, may get up. Both races hard to call but does look like PF's found some value. There's hope for him yet siding with English over Irish!

if loner leads feel mill bang bling must go round clear on the inside and with a target to aim at will drag him along and when loner falls in a hole must go by .bert looks a 6/4 shot to me see him and snapper going neck and neck inside will be to strong .will lay favs looks like most will win but cant do no harm two will get beat

Anyone try and get the 5/2 with boyles on Bert??  They've surpassed themselves this time by allowing me to have £6.40 on, a huge liability of £22!!!

Tried £50 got an absolute no so tried a fiver to see what it said and offered 64p.

Judicial Ruling is worth taking on @ odds on in my opinion. He is by no means certain to go around this week with all the early in the race. Tinas Nova has been going up well, Razldazl Bugatti came back to something like his best last time, King Jaffa can go up well and where will Tyrur Justin go from trap 6? If the race was around Shelbourne Park i'd say he'd edge inwards but he did move wide from 3 last time.

Chunks in hand on the clock, he may do but he ran directly after the bowser went around which history says speeds the track up. Bugatti ran in the last heat on Friday night (heat 8) and on that night the bowser went around after heat 2. I'm not so sure there is that much difference between the 2 runs and whichever of the pair went around i'd expect them not to be caught.

I haven't played on the heat (yet anyway) but i wouldn't be backing Judicial Ruler at odds on.

Anyone else pounce on Coral's "Rick" in Heat 7?  They were going 5/4 Droopy's Jet 7/2 Coolavanny Bert last night.  None of their prices were showing on Oddschecker for some reason.

Bugatti's good but Judicial could be exceptional. He destroyed useful Blue Riband winner Young Sid, also raced straight after the bowser, and would come as no surprise to me if he turns out of the highest order. A flying starter on current evidence, no way would i like to be laying just a shade odds-on

I really think I have got 4 winners here and the sponsors are best prices on all of them...
