Anyone else like to see someone from the GBGB as a guest on the doggy channel? Would be good to hear from them about what they do rather than have certain journalist(s) patronise owners, trainers et al on their behalf.
If they are so misunderstood let them clarify. I persume they've been asked to come on the box- if not why not? Then let the journalists do what journalists should do and the customers, as watchers of the (free to air) channel are branded contribute to the discussion.
If the GBGB are transparent about what ther role is and isnt at least it allows people to understand where they need to focus their efforts in order to make things happen.
Funny that Henlow aside and the excellent Robert Morton, there's not been any promoter on to provide an insight from their perspective on prize money, sponsorship etc aside from bookmaker reps, some of which are just as intent on pushing thier prices for a white xmas, x factor or celeb big brother as anything else.
Dont get me wrong I think the channel is a fabulous addition and its great to hear from some great trainers its just got the potential to be able to offer so much more than at present

Good idea. They are supposed to be the official organ for Greyhound Racing. I would like to asked them a few questions. Where do they show on their website greyhounds who have had a name change. Its almost impossible to find this information anywhere. They should also show all trap draws for Open races. If the Racing Post didnt give this we would be in the dark. Their website is the most boring
I have ever seen. It needs a shake up. It would be a waste of time having them on when a certain journalist from the Racing Post is on. He wont hear a word against them. I think the GBGB are invisible.
