Cant believe Im asking this but we are coming to Belle Vue this afternoon and need a winner to pay for the exes (Currently £150 as I have had to drop the Mrs a drink to let me come :( :( )
Well, no wonder the game is on its knees. What a piece of sheet Belle Vue is. I never knew it was a GRA track but that explains everything.
8 of us decided on a day at Belle Vue on the ale. Paid £14.70 each on the train, 2 taxis at £9.50 a piece walked in and asked where the bar is. The locals looked bemused and said er I dont know. Asked a few staff and they said we will get the Bar Manager. The bar manager came and said "the bars are not open today as we dont take enough money" I asked when this was decided and he said "From the New year" I pointed out we were not in the new year and he er er ered a bit so I asked for a manager.
A poisoned dwarf turned up who could have been mistake for the bloke who clears the dog muck up, slouched up and said we wont be opening the bars as we dont take enough. I ponted out there was 8 of us on the lash and he said, "I would if I could but I cant" He stood their smiling, with his hands in his pockets, knees**couldnt give a flying fcuk and i said your a right arrogant C U Next Tuesday.
He reiterated he couldnt do anything and turned away. he walked inside, turned round and said, "Am I an arrogant masurbator or a nice man who can open the bar" I said I didnt call you a wa**er I called you a C**t to which he said, "OK, am I an arrogant C**t or a nice man who can open the bar" He basically wanted me to appologies, I told him he wasnt getting the reply he wanted and to shove it up his ass.
After the second race, despite him not been able to open the bars, the bar trackside was open.
What a pitiful excuse for a track. BAGS pay for the tote staff, yet there was no tote operating (Wonder if BAGS know this but are still being billed) we seem to think that BAGS pay for the bar staff too but woudl stand corrected.
Even the bookmakers couldnt believe the ass wipes attitude. They were saying no wonder no one turns up when they cant get a bevvy even on Xmas eve.
I would suggest the numpty who was "The Manager" should see if pp07 can get him a job at McDs becaus ehe hasnt a clue. No beer on Xmas eve, what a fecking joke
I know one of the lads is going to email the GRA, the track manager, BAGS and the Racing Post but no doubt it will meen f all to them
We left after the second and spent £40 a man in manchester

sorry to hear about you day m8. Your right, no wonder the game is on its hands and knees. Managers that haven't got a scooby doo and don't do anything to accomodate you (no doubt a graduate type, who only listens to himself and talks out of the backdoor area!!). Terrible stuff!!!

Betting at Belle Vue will do you no good whatsoever... If you put £20.00 on a 3/1 shot they will cut it to 2/1... You cannot bet big at the track...

Many great memories evaporated at the home of greyhound racing
In the end, i was reduced to the odd Sunday morning
...and to think the GRA, used to have the slogan: "Great Racing Always"
