a greyhound suspended in Ireland requalifies by having a handslip set off just behind another runner.

it couldn't have had British trials without the Irish book being present and it was the Irish book that would have been withheld after the suspension pending satisfactory clearing trial.

Thanks for the reply. Does not seem a very satisfactory way for a dog to be cleared. Out of interest how many times is a dog allowed to be suspended in Ireland before it is warned off for good ?

it is a perfect way to clear a dog......a handslip behind another dog would clearly show up something that was dodgy....provided of course that the dog it is slipped behind doesnt just run away from it!
