Thanks to Mr Ponder for the sponsorship, hope his dog gets to the final. So anyone have any opinions or fancies? The local entries don't appear top class and I reckon Nana Jewels will do best of them. First heat should be interesting and Shaws Dilemma could be a great prospect. It will be interesting to see if any of these come back for the Oaks proper next month.
The Lenson dog won well IMO, Shaws slow away but through to the final. Nanat in twice, caused mayhem, gave Zenas a solo and got through. Tell me about the bl@@dy fireworks! It sounds like Beirut here and my two retireds are going mental, which is why I'm not at the Don.

Firstly thanks to Len for sponsoring the event BUT Surely it could have been done better by the track there were only 3 heats with 5 local graders from one trainer and because of the "jackpot factor" the races were put on far too early instead of making them the feature of the night

Shaws looks class above these and could be a big player in the Oaks as well.
Does 10 1/2 lengths win in final count as a class above ?!
