OK Money. Any fancies for the Sentry.
I'm going to try and play every Tournament this season. And of course I'll be adding most of Raz's picks into the mix. ![]() Sentry Schauffele 17.5 (Runs this track well and always one of the first golfers I consider) Im 44 Homa 19 All 1pt Win Big priced plays McCarthy 130 (No track form but I feel this lad can be competitive here and I'm confident he'll get his first Tour win at some point this season) Putnahm 380 (One outing here and finished a very respectful T14. Worth a stab at a huge price) Both 0.5pt Win Also played the 1st RL Market on the above 5. 24 36 29 70 130 All 0.5pt Good luck if you're playing lads! |

We both had a chance but not to be...I hope Raz is back soon! lol Interestingly Sungjae Im set a new record for birdies at the Tournament but that still wasn't enough to get the job done. Unlike the Horse Racing I just bet for fun on the golf. I use a smaller bank and smaller stakes than on Horse Racing but it's enjoyable having a financial interest and keeping up with the coverage over the weekend. See you for the Sony Open!

Dubai seems to revolve around Rory this week, is 3/1 value
and if so how much of an error is it. Overall I think he's been a dream for traders but surely his actual win percentage is way under what it might have been.. Likely he would have won more in such weak fields as he faces this week. As such I'm looking to take a chance elsewhere and looking past the hojgards and Tommy Fleetwood. (4 potential winners!) Would be nice to get 28-30 on Ryan Fox on here win only market,.. Then look at place markets. Good luck all, Hawaii looks good too. Indeed a fantastic season in prospect, Liv or no Liv. |

By:
with rahm, mcilroy would have been about 7 so it's a big loss losing one of the regular favourites. guys like fleetwood, hojgaard are now sub 16/1 when usually they'd be 20s.
|
|
By:
I remember backing mcilroy at 8/1 when he rocked up
on challenge tour for Egyptian open. .... For a man who began the week with a performance that ranked as "the worst I have ever hit it as a professional", Rory McIlroy left the Egyptian Open presented by SODIC in the knowledge that he is on the way back to his best after finishing the tournament with his lowest score of the week, a four-under-par 68. ![]() 2010,i think. |

would be up a fortune laying rory every tournament that's for sure but people will always back...in his defence he always seems to go even money in running. last year it was crazy the amount of times he went evs or better and didn't win. so i suppose those backers could be all laying off in running and don't mind if he wins or not knowing he always shortens

Yep, that's been the case for years, (not always down to evens) and what I alluded to
in calling him a traders dream. I've done so woo Kim for Sony. Took 44 win and 10.5 top 5 Once again good luck all. |

Rory matched as low as 2.10 after 11 holes...
Fox nearly last,... If only... |
|
By:
-7 after 13 and 1.92.
|
|
By:
From Ben coley
That will be the 35th first-round lead of McIlroy's career, which in terms of official, OWGR-sanctioned events puts him level with... Tiger Woods |
|
By:
hojgaard the only potential threat, rest of them seriel non winners - fleetwood on for his usual 2nd. just don't fancy backing someone at 1.75 despite a great round after only one round
|
|
By:
I think the traders lay now.
|
|
By:
for sure lol. suppose it was more likely with only 60 players but still impressive after only 18 holes!

is Ludvig Adberg any good as he seems plenty short in the betting ?

|
By:
Aberg was much hyped and world ranked no1 amateur
and star of us college golf. Turned pro last year and won on euro tour and uspga tour within 6 months Played and won at ryder cup..2 from 4,both wins in foursomes. Looks impressive https://youtu.be/REAAz7D79GY .. |

thanks for that YHTL; shows how much interest I had in the Ryder Cup

Rock on Tommy -19 birdies last as Rory bogies to win by 1.
Ryan fox struggles to t14, -8, although he played his 2nd 9s in -12,..slow starts can't win in low scorers. Si woo can't putt this week, ah well Next week... And well done Rory traders and Tommy backers |
|
By:
any idea what price rory went? hopefully this win will see tommy win more often. too good to be coming second every time he plays well.

.. He used to post on the forum!!!, sad loss, but thankfully betfair employ him. Looks like Rory hit 1.2,... |
|
By:
With Tommy Fleetwood, I often think if you
keep putting yourself in contention then the wins will come. I too hope he lands a big one. Duval had a lot of seconds before becoming a winner. |
|
By:
ya that mcilroy tee shot was a shocker i have to say but fleetwood backers finally get paid on their win part! the rory backers are back this week and wish to go again at the same price despite a much higher quality and twice as many entries as last week. suppose he would have won without the major errors but i just have to opt out at that price i'd prefer fleetwood about 13.5(think he was 12 last week)
|
|
By:
Fleetwood is 3.7 top 5
Rory is 4.2 to win. |
|
By:
Suppose I'll have to back Ryan fox again at 42.
