Got a big position running on Hoge now and he's not drawing dead if they play.

Bet officials want Rahm to sink that putt on 18. Gives them an easy out if it's needed.

I would bet joint winners have been declared at some point in tour history.

Final putt of round holed 22:50 UK time in case it matters for anything.

The PGA say yes, but no spectators. This is on the tournament website:

The golf course received over 6 inches of rain from Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon, with another 1-2 inches expected overnight, leaving many cart paths and spectator walkways impassable. With more rain forecasted throughout the day on Monday, including a possible afternoon thunderstorm, officials determined that contesting the final round without spectators onsite would be the safest path moving forward.

Sounds like golf in a swamp, presumably with preferred lies.

Cheers for that ,only saw the previous statement which said they regarded the tournament as important for the playoffs so they’d finish 72 holes whatever, when I read that I thought maybe they were setting us up for a Tuesday finish.6 inches of rain is quite a deluge though will be a miracle if they can play.

Smith was excellent at the November Masters which was super soft. Still, Rahm is Rahm. Market about right imo.

from what Sky mob were saying..might get 3 hrs in b4 some more bad stuff comes in,so the leaders may only play a handful of holes and then unlikely any further play..also made allusion to smth along the lines of..if half the field comppleted theor rounds could have a result declared but that could still leave the leaders mid round with no further play.

does that mean whoever was leading at that point, having not finished, would be a winner?
i'd be skeptical about that.

do they then play or attempt to 2moro?

or call it at 54 holes?

answers by post card pls.

want to lay Rahm but don't want to be in a position cos round isn't completed they have jt winners after 54 holes.

confusing or what..fked if i know

If not involved already I'd be sitting this one out myself Johnny. Too volatile.

x top 70 thru to next round.

Why they just didn't declare 54 holes on Saturday morning is a mystery to me.

They've already said they will play tomorrow if needed, so there's no confusion really. Forecast tomorrow is fine, it will be a 72 hole tournament.

Not impressed by too many except Rahm being an experienced genius and Shane Lowry showing the world he has a short game to die for. So. anyway, I just checked betting on upcoming Ryder Cup. Europe 3.35/3.40 to back. Interestingly tempted.
