Day making some clutch putts but way off the pace already

And looking like a slightly squashed Tony Finau.

Bhatia - isn't he one of these wonderkids?
By:
Yeah, made his first start at 17 I think. Already turned pro which is very rare for an American kid so must have big ambitions.
By:
Yep taken the Lebron/Kobe approach. Worked out ok for them.
By:
Better hope forecast wind and rain doesnt arrive.
Not been lasered yet.... |
By:
Hugely encouraging stuff from Spiffy.

hate when tourney splits courses

By:
day putting like sergio
By:
Yeah, I think the kid might struggle in the poorer conditions the rest of the weekend but we've seen stranger winners than him round here.
By:
Very impressive round from Cantlay, do hope the forecast winds come to make this a bit more interesting.
By:
Bravo Patrick.
Superb. Runner in Masters imo. |
By:
-5 from Berger on SH is very good too, but remains to be seen how much the stagger unwinds tomorrow if it does blow.
By:
Anyone got a reliable weather update, from what I'm seeing weather to be quite similar to yesterday? Course possibly softer too?
Any updates welcomed, pretty one sided with Spyglass today. |
By:
there doesn't look to be a flaw in cantlay's game but cant be having him at 2.8 with 3 rounds to go. and spyglass looks to be playing a shot or two harder than pebble beach
By:
make that about 3 shots instead after looking at the sb. if its the same again today, plenty on 3 under like piercy, kirk and berger the obvious one at 5 under and pb should suit them
By:
Interesting start if true:
P. Cantlay (SH) Shot 3 from tee box |
By:
C'mon Day you aren't looking remotely ominous
By:
Rock solid 9 Spieth then does that.
Literally absurd golf. No more than 18 inches putt. |
By:
Maybe his bottle is gone. That was horrendous....
By:
Chance to lead, choke....
By:
Hello.
Bomb.... |
By:
How can you miss from a foot and then can that.?
Crazy game... |
By:
Considering the poor quality of the field they'll be delighted to see Cantlay, Spieth, Berger, Casey and Day all hovering around the top of the leaderboard.
By:
I must come on tomorrow nice n early again and dig out Jordan good and proper.
Worked a little treat ![]() |
By:
Hope the weather stays decent...
By:
Two more days round a windy Pebble with a strong leaderboard and no Bill Murray, happy days.

Is Spiffy back

Any views on Spiffy and the remaing 2 days very very welcome.
Got one of the biggest positions I've had in a long time on him, not aftertiming just keen to hear views, all rates from start, 30plus down. Barring an occasional blip think has looked terrific for 2 weeks, but imo still may have the utter blowout hole? Likeliest winner on 2 days I've watched but just a nagging doubt. Help me out chaps ![]() Tempted, very tempted to sit tight for now. Got Berger and Cantlay on side too small, no one else at all nearby. |
By:
i think day wins it from here
By:
Hard to know Jedi. Could be price of the year and he isn't scared to win a event. Keeps his wand hot should win Imo , I am on his side but anyone apart from CANTlay would be ok for me.
By:
Cheers bob.
Forecast sounding pretty bad... |
By:
5,6 shocks to the bulk of field at 6,7 under.
Just hope weather doesnt favour earlier tee times and get brutal for late guys or advantage all gone quick. |
By:
Shots.

we all know u can't trust any of these fkers(incl. the winners) to get the job done
i'd be wary,at least trade so u don't lose, long time since he's won and there's a reason for that would be a popular winner w/o any financial interest..defo shown glimpses of the X factor he once had but came nowhere close to winning in the final round last week |
