DJ WD, carnage in the market

How can betfair leave the market open when a player has withdrawn? this isn't protecting customers.  In a horse racing ante post market they'd cancel all bets that were placed after the announcement/breaking news.

There will be some lovely looking screens , not sure the small even money Day backer is one of them.Others will be resigned to a poor week.

I don't really follow golf, how often do players pull out of tournaments?

Not the first time DJ has blown up a market by withdrawing. 2017 Masters was off the charts when he withdrew. Money matched this time tiny in comparison when you're trading at 5s, geez. Poor layers.

Revs - players pull out all the time. When you're 200-1 it really doesn't matter but i'm fairly sure DJ this week would have been the shortest starting price of any player in a full field event on the PGA Tour since Tiger Woods at the 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Carnage.

I had bets with another exchange and they voided all unmatched bets at 3.52am, Betfair voided my unmatched bets around 4 hours later?

Punters beware looks like could be a fairly significant draw bias this week. No MPCC this year so Spyglass/Pebble first 2 days with half the field on each then Pebble all weekend.

Benign conditions Thursday so advantage Pebble and then high winds Friday which is exactly when you want to be in the trees at Spyglass. Faves with the benefit is Cantlay, Zalatoris, Spieth and Day.

High winds all weekend so could be a fun week.

Cantlay, Zalatoris and Jones for me.

The way the PB boys are tearing up the front side the SH boys need a good one today to have any chance if the forecast holds.

Spiffy tempo looks very different, bit slower back and through, not so much launching last minute...

The now anyway.

Hope keeps it nice n smooth, much better for his type if swing.
