Why do you need to? Sometimes the course wins, sometimes someone plays exceptional and they win...

When it's this soft and DJ is on form and no wind for the large part, every course in the world gets obliterated.

Usually think you're overly critical Johnny but I agree with you here. Bollocks tournament this week, played great but DJ just won the Augusta Open, brought to you by Corona.

Tiger still the defending Masters champ next April.

A little better than I thought it would be on page 1.  They got very lucky with the weather

Thought all it lacked was the crazy fast greens and all that can bring...

Augusta is all about the crazy fast greens and having to often aim nowhere near where you want the ball to finish. This week 220 yard approaches were plugging on greens where they land, pure target golf. Hopefully 2021 is nothing like this year all around.

Must be extra special having Tiger be the one to slip the jacket on you and then extra special again having Paulina take it off Love

DJ has an alright life...

laid rory for a top 5 at 4.5 for 23 quid. is my loss of 63.25 more than it should be? i assumed my 80 loss would be halved?
By:

therhino..was being facetious

the so called sub air needs stronger blowers..as u say the greens didn't really get much quicker and balls weren't moving far from where they landed

even tho' he cost me,i've never seen him play better really..it's still one of the great tests in golf whatever time of year and his putting which isn't always his strong suit was really good as well

a Tiger type performance really and as Mc G says he appears to be far stronger mentally and a far better player than 2 majors would indicate..fully merited

Betfair have settled the Top 5 and Top 10 markets incorrectly
Anyone else having same issues?

It says my back bets of Dustin Top 5 have lost... what a joke
By:

They have settled them as Dead Heat 6 people for 5 places, instead of 5th and 6th tied for the 5th spot

By way of another example, assume there is an outright winner in a golf tournament but 7 players tie for 2nd place. In the "top 5 finish" market, after settling on the outright winner in the top 5 market there would be 4 other designated winners places available

that's from the rules and regulations. so fairly sure they'll correct it once somebody manages to get through to the 'help'-line.

i dont normally bet on golf but specifically searched for this rule tonight.

Johnson moves from being one of 101 one time Major winners since 1946, to being one of 25 two time Major winners.
Can he come back in April and move in to the more exclusive group of 10 three time Major winners ?

My favorite three time Major winner wouldn't have been out of place in ancient Rome.
