very open this tournament now. so many players in contention. even rose has charged back into it.
By:
x-man new leader, but can't say I've seen a shot of him
By:
Yeah, these guys are so good with the wedges there's almost no situation they should be deliberately risking injury to avoid a pitch out into the fairway, unless you're maybe 1 behind with a couple to play, and his was on a Thursday.
By:
Take it you mean new market leader? Gave me a fright there but unless he's aced a par 4....
Guy is still overlooked, not given a featured group so completely under the radar, but get the feeling he's more than happy that way. |
By:
sorry yeah meant new fave lol
By:
I'm assuming because he has 2 par 5s still to go. I think you're right about him not minding being out of the spotlight
By:
x-man doing well but really market fav? you're having a laugh surely. he's not that good.
By:
Yeah, market seems to have basically given him those two birdies, he looks a bit short to me.
By:
Jordan has been very disappointing once again
By:
i'm on tiger and surely he's got a better chance than x-man.won this five times!
rose is worrying me though, this is some form if he keeps it up, clearly found something round ![]() |
By:
Must say looking at the names moving within range for the weekend I'm not super confident about my boy Troy holding them all off.
By:
Yep, cracking rd from Rose, that freak birdie after going wet is the sort of shot that seem to go in when you're on a tear. Hopefully nicely bunched over the w/e. Wow Rose fires in another
By:
Even allowing for the two par 5s the X - Rose price comparison is interesting with 1 shot in it.
By:
Yes bizarre TB. I also rate x-man but as you say a bit short for position
By:
Tiger mugging the par 5
By:
Terrible 1st shot out the rough.
Looked like a decent lie to get on the green and take his 5. |
By:
oof that should never have been anywhere near a double
By:
Bryson group hitting tee shots on 16, group ahead on 17 green. At some point someone's got to get a penalty, and I'd like it to be him.

Surprised to see Rory in the field for Canada, two consecutive weeks before a major doesn't seem his style. Maybe he planned to have this weekend off all along. Pretty poor field other than him, Brooks and DJ (who has to be there).

Tiger is -4 for the third round after 9 or so holes, back in it now,ive followed you seasoned gamblers and backed Cantlay @ 7/1
By:
Make that only -2 for this round now for Tiger
By:
Shocked to see Danny up on the leaderboard

By:
Dodgy putt from Troy on the 1st

Wouldn't be the first time Kaymer has ruined a tourney for me.

Laying ponce now in anticipation for Sunday ponce putting
By:
Kaymer and Merritt, not a bad couple of darts. Fair play TB.
By:
Superb round Kaymer. Looked peak Kaymer on the back 9.
By:
kaymer looked very good today but hoping that with him and scott not having won a tournament for a while they might get a bit nervy on the sunday.
I know Jordan hasn't won a tournament for a while either, but have a sneaky feeling he'll be the one to emerge from the pack and challenge. if anyone does. I liked cantlay from the start but his current price, when four shots back, makes limited appeal. Jordan what is it 11 tour victories, and cantlay one tour win, and yet Jordan is the bigger price?! even not having won since 2017 that makes little sense to me. |

on the other hand it's good to see martin back after so many years in the wilderness. you never truly lose it.
I think he's been inspired by woods comeback and thought, well if he had come back after all the troubles he's had, me in my peak and without any serious injury issues, I've got no excuse. |
