Memorial Tournament Picks :-
P Cantlay @25 G Woodland @42 K Stanley @90 GL to all............. |
By:
Coley has tipped up your boy Fowler LR
By:
he's not my boy hank. my only boys are the ones who win for me on that particular weekend, if that ever happens

Cantlay in good Nick, but 18.5 about a guy who detests trophies is criminal. Rory at 10.5 a great bet imo, should be well shorter. Loves this place and with Rose out of form, questions about Tiger and JT with no Brooks and DJ, I'm shocked about the double digit price.

yeah I agree rory a good bet
might be a good bet first round leader as well, I recall him going very low a few years back before blowing up later in the tournament, but that was when he had his well documented "Friday troubles" thing with rory is he doesn't give me any confidence with the putter... although last round of the pga he putted very well fowler seems a bit nervy at the mo... I notice he's speeded up his putting routine, whether that's a deliberate thing I don't know, not that he was ever particularly slow in the first place. if Jordan can sort his ball striking out for this tournament he might become very interesting. |

Not a pleasant forecast, could be in for a pretty stop-start event. Conventional wisdom would be that a soggy course plays into Rory's hands as the only true bomber of the top favourites but hard to be too inspired by the price.
By:
Always forget to give Cantlay credit as a bomber, matching DJ in driving distance this year. Like rhino says, though, not a great price for a guy who struggles to win.
By:
only bets so far, cantlay, rory, tiger.
By:
Go Rory. Irish or Slovak, I don't care.
By:
Found it hard to have any real fancies for this so just chucked a couple of darts at Kaymer and Merrit.
By:
So you won't be dancing on the streets of Nitra in about 100 or so hours from now with the rest of us TB?
By:
He's still in the bad books after last weekend.
By:
C'mon mate. I have it on good authority his mother in law has made enough Lokse for everybody.
By:
Was already cracking open the Borovička when he was streaking clear on Friday, never again.
By:
If there was a hat tip emoji, I'd press it

Gotta make hay now surely.....

Here we go.
By:
It's amazing how many comms have no idea what an odds on favourite means.
By:
Hacking out the rough no good for the back first thing in the morning.
By:
The odds on thing really annoys me, even seen it misused a few times in betting columns. Instant red flag for any tipster if they don't know what odds on means.
By:
Good old Rory.
By:
Bryson's gone completely off a cliff after the first round lead at Augusta. Someone should try switching him off and on again.
By:
Back 9 considerably tougher..
Scores say so. |
By:
Rory wait until out of it before holes a few,Saturday morning the norm. Sunday aft.
By:
Got away with a brain fade on the first par 5, not sure he's coming out of this one intact.
By:
Making Jordan look straight.
What a plum he is. Considering his talents question what hes doing rather a lot. |
By:
I'm not a sports psychologist but it seems to me Rory struggles with expectation- expects to make eagle or birdie on every par 5 and so often makes a total mess of them like he just did. Expected to go well at Augusta and never really got going until he was out of it, and struggled to close out other tournaments from positions he'd expect to win. Sawgrass, the course doesn't really suit, maybe his expectations were less, and hey presto.

added Jordan earlier at 20s (honest)
regretting wasting money on rory at all. he's just a bookmakers dreams these days. rows of mansions and armada's of yachts have been built on the back of his failures ![]() |
By:
woodland managed to make an eight on a par five without one foul ball, some achievement

By:
Thought about backing Jordan before the off for a trade, didn't pull the trigger. Weekends might be iffy but he's certainly offering a profit for his backers of late.
By:
ole mate +5 thru 12 with an eagle and two birdies. That's next level.
By:
moore looking threatening.
think rory's head goes down if he doesn't get off to a good start these days. if he can show pony it, then fine, otherwise there's little desire to grind out a score. |
By:
Beauty of this course, plenty of scoring to be had but when it goes south it can go south in a hurry. Although Sam taking it to extremes.
By:
Rory grinded like feck in PGA.
Hes just not as good as thought would be. Not consistently good in all depts. And he switches off all the time |
By:
Spieth defo hitting ball better.
Anyone else no red button? Sky showing Belgium fgs |
By:
Not sure we're going to have any Rorys hanging round for the weekend.
By:
Got out at 17,18 early doors, was on the wall.
