even I would probably have to admit that koepka is clear favourite now... although with rickie and rahmbo lurking just behind (and a certain tiger woods) this is far from over. think scott will have putting issues under the spotlight and will back out of contention.

Playing 29 holes while injured would have taken a bit out of Rickie. Be interesting to see Rahmbo first time in the heat of a major Sunday, could be car crash TV given his temper if things don't go his way. Will need a good start. Ponce's putting could well bring him unstuck yes, he's the X factor for me, could shoot 64 or 74 just as easily.

the thing i can't understand is that all the available 1.01 was taken - and nothing matched on eg 1.02 - how is that possible with best execution?

The bet must have been placed at 1.01 but all available 'to back' sums in the market were matched (little sums all at 10, 5, 2.5 etc). So in that sense they got best execution. But if there's nothing available at 1.02 then nothing can be matched there. If that makes sense

If it had been in a football match odds market then 1.01 would have been impossible as cross matching would have kicked in. But no cross matching in Golf

but there is stacks available at 1.02 and slightly less at 1.03 and 1.04 - I can't imagine there was nothing at all there at the time of the bet.

Personally like those at 8 under more if there is to be a challenge.
Thought was nigh on over last night and Brooks let a dozen back in with the 2 bogeys,could've been worse too. Hoping that's a lesson learned as looked likecwas finding it all a bit easy or just simply switched off when seen 5 clear. Just cannot do that in a major. His play on last 3 said a lot for him imo though. |
