Anyone know what he is doing now? He was with Sky Sports up until a couple of years ago. He used to do the on-course stuff mainly and I remember him getting a hole-in-one at Sawgrass 17th when doing a preview for the Sky coverage.

We were paired with him early eighties in the pro-am preceding the Carrolls Irish Open at Portmarnock . He was fine , even if he had trouble with our accents . Good player , excellent ball striker .

Met him a few years ago at Portrush , Irish Open ago . He remembered that day long ago , our entourage was pretty lively . Not sure how he passes his time these days , he still looked fit at Portrush .
