Xander very reminiscent of Kim at Sawgrass. Not brilliant tee to green but very good at getting the ball in the hole. That was a superb par under all this pressure with the POTY charging at him.

If Spieth had played to just 50% of his capabilities he would have run away with the Tournament.
Couldn't believe how many 3 foot putts he fluffed.

THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 Devil

The FedEx Cup playoffs have reached their final event. ONLY 30 players, led by two-time playoff winner Bryson DeChambeau, head to East Lake GC in Atlanta next week - the aim is capturing the FedEx Cup and its $10 million prize.
Dechambeau 20/1, Justin Rose 8/1, Tony Finau 20/1, Dustin Johnson 8/1 and Justin Thomas 11/1 are the Top 5 that can win the FedEx Cup outright by winning the Tour Championship. Everyone else will need alot help from these 5 leaders.

Rounding out the top 10 are Keegan Bradley, U.S. Open and PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka 12/1, Bubba Watson, Billy Horschel, and Cameron Smith.
The next 10: Webb Simpson, Jason Day, Open Championship winner Francesco Molinari, Phil Mickelson, Masters champion Patrick Reed, Patrick Cantlay, Rory McIlroy 9/1, Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood, and Tiger Woods 16/1.
The final 10: Aaron Wise 80/1, Kevin Na, Rickie Fowler 20/1, Jon Rahm, Kyle Stanley, Paul Casey, Hideki Matsuyama 20/1, Gary Woodland, Marc Leishman, and Patton Kizzire.
(Tour Championship Winner odds - 22's bar)

This is the last year under the current FedEx Cup format. Starting in 2019, the playoffs will go from 4 events to 3, and the winner of the second event — the BMW Championship — will start the Tour Championship at 10 under par, with every other player in the 30-man field staggered downward from there. Prize money will also reportedly jump from $10 million to $15 million.

Wow 10/1 the field in a 30 runner event ( biggest priced fav ever in this event ?).Sums up the state of golf at the moment ,all much of a muchness.
Crying out for the next superstar to appear , it sure ain't none of this lot. Will there ever be another dominant player ?

in fairness to tiger he used to be dominant... not his fault he's older now.

heard there's some 16 year old kid in the US who's supposed to be quite good.

Don’t think any of the current breed are hungry enough Frames, Rory especially seems to have chucked it in since getting married.

Depends on your definitions of dominant and superstar. DJ just spent the best part of 18 months at number 1, won 10 tourneys in 2 years. That's pretty good. Only 3 players have even won double digit majors, if that's your criteria you might wait a while. If Tom Watson, Trevino etc. is your criteria then take your pick, there are a few who could reach those heights.

Expecting another Tiger so soon is probably wishful thinking. We thought we had it in Rory, could still turn out that way.

Defo biggest priced fave I can recall in this event. By a distance.

Team of 5 might seem excessive in a 30 runner race, but there we go.

My main bet is Koepka. 16.0 seems huge in such a small field and he's talked this up a few times. Also really like Simpson at 30/1. Bang in form and gone well here several times. Last three are Molinari, Matsuyama and Horschel.
