Flashscore was pretty good all day yesterday and it was ahead of most shots on BBC Red Button for most of the day, it has a tendency to freeze but its red birdy/bogey warning will catch your eye if you are doing something else besides.

If your using a separate monitor for the scores you can set it to portrait and get down to Westwood with out shrinking the text much, but if you can't swivel your monitor don't blame me for your stiff neck tomorrow

BBC must of got it on the cheap as no one had it as recently as a month ago.F$ck knows what Sky were playing at.

IMG deal with the PGA media rights and the word is they wanted to jack up the prices and Sky walked away.  Would have thought an agreement could've been reached as there's no way the BBC are paying as much as Sky would have, and Sky should really have paid a bit more to preserve their major monopoly, seems like things are falling apart for them a bit.

There's the usual flannel about the PGA wanting it on free to air to spread the game etc but I'm not sure some grainy red button footage commentated on by a bunch of bored old men is going to substantially grow the game or their brand.

Eilidh Barbour tweeted it would be available on the website but no sign of it.  Which shows they have the rights to the featured groups but just can't be bothered.  It's pathetic really.

Once the coverage started i enjoyed it. A golf shot followed by another golf shot followed by.. you get the picture. Very few interviews or needless analysis. It appeared to be world feed rather than network so we got more shots from a greater range of players.

Just listen to the risque perspicacious tongue in cheek jibes!  Well I like 'em anyway.  Much prefer this to the sermon from the sanctimonious Ewan Murray or the gentleman who invented golf, namely Mr Mark Roe.

Although I am a sky lover I liked the bbc coverage obv the main winner it has over sky is no advert breaks I have watched many a sky golf tourny and especially on the final round the advert breaks seem to be every 3 minutes
