On another note, well done Lexi Thompson,Victim of one of the biggest sporting outrages ever...Fair play,never get that one back but to win so soon after is very commendable indeed!

I'm glad others are cottoning on to the fact that jedi is a chronic aftertimer and I'm not just a lone voice crying in the wilderness. It might not be so if he didn't make it so obvious.
actually if you read through the thread it seems his main bet from the start was koepka. however once he drifted out of contention he started cheering for Horschel, who by that point was well up there and in contention for winning.
it is amazing how every week he happens to be on the leader/leaders.

tbf to jedi he comes across as a good egg in general, just all this aftertiming makes these golf threads difficult to read, I think other posters know how difficult it is to win on golf, you can go weeks maybe months without a winner, so when somebody pops up and claims they're on the leader every time it's difficult to stomach.

Still hacks it round quite frequently, although you may not have scrolled down far enough to notice. Not entirely sure how he still has status.
Sabbatini finished 191st last year on the fed ex and then got his status this year through the webcom finals. Think he would get a few starts as a past champion.
Cheers, I've lost track of the ins and outs of the qualifying process these days. A tour card seems like a generous reward for 2 MCs and a 6th place in the Web.com finals, but like you say he probably has all sorts of past champion / money list things to parachute his descent into obscurity. Unpleasant fella by most accounts.

Last week i did NOT win on Golf.Players, I got out luckily and posted as thought was quite funny! Forum better with humour!
This week i made a small profit on the week thanks to Billy Horschel winning and laying DJ. You make out Horschel was clear when i first mention him, in fact he was double figure prices on many many occasions and high single figure on many occasions during final round,never Fav over last six holes or playoff.......
Seen as you pair have clearly read back the thread, Keopka was my main bet, easy to spot, DJ lay next bet chaps,also easy to spot, hence why much much later in thread i suggest now happy to back, at much much larger prices, when only TB and me really on thread!
Good to see you both so involved on Golf forum, but a tad sad the content.
If you seriously think i would bullshit on a thread to make myself look good to a bunch of strangers your even more deluded than you sound on here!

I'm going to stick up for Jedi. He was on the thread most of the tournament, during which you'd expect him to also be trading the market and ending up with winners and losers. You can't expect him to live post every bet he makes, that would make for a fairly dull thread. Over the course of things I'd place hundreds of bets and not mention any on the forum until they became particularly interesting- like last week when I backed Poulter big on day 1 but thought little of it til he was in it on day 4. No one records all their bets on the forum and no-one's expected to, doesn't mean someone's an after timer because they post who they're rooting for come the business end. Good work on the profit Jedi.

However the facts are as follows. Most golf tournaments have 140-150 players. Yet almost every thread he seems to pop up claiming to have backed the leader- at big odds having made no mention of said golfer before hand. I pointed this out before and others seem to have cottoned on to it now.
What also seems strange is the fact that he comes on to the players thread on the Monday and dribbles on about how after all he was on the winner all along. Given that no one seemed to be enquiring whether he won or lost on the event, this seems to me to be more indication of someone with chronically low self-esteem who constantly seeks validity from others. The whole players thing just fits in with his aftertiming modus operandi.

Past champ and OWGR #4 Jason DAY turned in a 2-under-par 34-34=68 to match playing competitor Horschel on 12-under 268 but then lost on the first hole of sudden death up the 18th, 3-putting from 48'4" for bogey. It was his only 3-putt of the tournament. Jason had made 278 of 291 putts inside 5 feet this season (95.5%) before his miss on the 1st playoff hole from 4 feet.

Unfortunately the Forum is dying and it is because of people like those on this thread imo...Same as society on a whole actually,Silent keyboard Warriors with nothing better to do with there time.....YAWN.BORING.

And an honest young man having a bet than a Forum Stalker who has his fun criticising others with nothing other than nonsense to back his argumentHappy punting all, a break from this grief for me, taking my young fellas to the matches this weekend, Aforementioned also. If you can actually pluck up the courage to do so!
