Good question Rhino, you only really remember the ones that burn you. As a layer I'd say I've done consistently well out of Casey for obvious reasons and probably Adam, particularly when he chucked the Open.

Hats off to anyone who chucked a dart at GMAC at 700. Come Sunday night rest of us might be wondering how we missed such a huge price. |

you and KR have different thoughts on Scott I'd imagine TB! Furyk has to be up there for one of my best lays during the years. This is years ago now, but still makes me chuckle when I think of it - Toms was leading a tourny on a Friday and was perhaps ahead by a couple of shots - people were wanting on at around the 3.5 mark

it's a bit sad how someone who was so dominant in their sport now just resembles a weekend hacker. talk about eroding your legacy.

Maybe needs to mix it up and go to some of the less demanding courses instead of Riviera and PGA National while trying to get the game back. Could've pitched up last week instead.

Excellent weekend ahead, tough to try picking a winner, if it firms up further I envisages some real carnage if they so wish.
Few of the bigger players could be bang there with a low one, can't see any of the leaders really stretching clear. To tough an assignment. A few speculative punts for me. |

Tiger needs to rein in his ego and he wont play his best until he stops trying to hit it out there with the young guns.
Most of the signs look good with regard to his short game but he is putting it under too much pressure off the tee. Not sure whether he has the savvy to accept it though. As others have alluded to on here his choice of comeback courses seems bizarre. He surely needs to play, make cuts and build some confidence-nit sure that is his style though. |
|
By:
I understand Tiger needs to put more tournies under his belt for this comeback. However, Riviera seemed an odd choice to me. As you say sewter there were some positives, but you go wide at Riviera and you're going to be punished.

Do you mean the washed up weekend hacker?
He should do what he feels give him best chance in Masters, that's his focus imo. |

Surely 4 rounds of tournament golf would have been better than 2?

I would absolutely love to know if the Golf experts/ Tiger bashers on here have commented on the Tennis previously.
As Federer goes World Number 1 after some sensational tennis over the last 2 years. Followed closely by another phenomenon in Rafa Nadal. Fairly sure they would not be missed a couple of years back either, being written off, told to retire Etc Etc age and illness and injuries causing havoc with both. Superb to see both fight back against all odds and reach the summit again. I for one would truly love it if Tiger could do something similar. |
|
By:
Of course, but he played 4 at Farmers and this week was about business more than golf.

I agree zafonic would love to see him make a successful comeback just my opinion that he isnt giving himself the best chance.
That's just my opinion!! |
