Guy went to 1.3 and was only tied with JV.  Lesson to be learned about assuming birdies.

in fairness, bossman you said it before he collapsed whereas grant just made a statement based on one poorest shot and as we know all pros hit poor shots during  round, lots of people on here  seem to back vegas regularly but have given him a wide birth this week , thats frustrating.

sneakers mis  into the bunker on 18 is worse as he had to make eagle whereas wheat croft could have made birdie from there.

I'd vote for Gary Woodland's missus as fittest on tour. Gabby somebody. She's beautiful.

My sincere thanks to Dustin. Nicest win for me in a while. I stuck to not laying off for once as I always had my doubts. Those backing Dusty over 3 days at less than 2/1 were real optimists. Basically giving him the eagles before play. Somebody said earlier, a bird in the hand, proved so true in this competition. I agree that Golf Channel are getting poorer coverage. Obviously have sent all their gear ahead to next weekends tournament. Before I sign off, just a point of information. There has been some money early for J.B Holmes. Not a tip but an observation. Thanks to all those who contributed a post. It def makes things more interesting and a few wise words can help us help each other now and again. Roll on the P.G.A. and if Rory has had a chat with his putter, look out guys.

A cracking Sunday with lots in contention.

Had to feel for Wheatcroft will probably never have a better chance to win. Stood on 16 tee he was on the verge of victory, a two year exemption, a trip to the Masters, no wonder he was in tears as he skulled it in the water his mutltiple tie for 5th leaves well outside the top 125 and baring a great finish to the season is heading for the web dot com play offs and potentially back into obscurity.

To be fair his play on the final three holes was fairly abysmal/very very very poor...Still cant believe JVegas won and was huge lift for me.Two par fives and a straightforward par four which he had 85yds in to and plays the three in two over.Unfortunately didnt deserve anymore than got. Both par fives reachable and not too difficult either.Only ones not making birdies were ones who needed too.Wheatcrofts play on final three suggest maybe belongs on lower tour though had played really well for previous 15!
Classic choke im afraid....

Had Vegas for 6k but laid at 30 to win £200. No bottle. Don't these players know they're supposed to fall apart once you've cashed the bet Sad
