This has been great stuff from both guys, shame there's not a few more in it to keep it interesting though.

Given we've had Day and Dustin go from perennial contenders to major winners in the past year, Stenson would make a lot of sense.
|
|
By:
I'd like stenson for 1st major, but mickleson would be oldest winner

Final group.
Duel in the sun? Duel in the wind? Duel in the rain? |

looks like the 4th 40yo + winner in 6 renewals - and add Zach at 39 last year.
Patience and experience in trying conditions. |

All my apples are in the Stenson basket, trying to avoid a big payout of Phil. But I am content I am on the right apple. I agree with Total Bos, pity there are not more contenders, but suits me from a punting point of you. Looking at the greens in reg over the 3 days so far, you will notice a trend in Phil's tee shots..... one of the reasons I am with Stenson. The other main reason is the steely grit of Stenson.

been a good watch today, a few of leftys tee shots today reminiscent of hitting the tent at the US open in 06

butch adding a year to phils age 47
he's 46 June 16, 1970 (age 46) |

xmoney thanks for that made my day what a spoilt brat he is

The 2 guys leading are known bottlers so I would think that this is not over yet. Once nerves kick in it's a totally different game just hope someone comes out of the pack and makes it exciting as so far very boring only muggleroy breaking the club was my highlight.

KNOWN BOTTLERS.....lol
![]() ![]() Mickelson won everything in the game,bar a US Open.Stenson same bar a major.5,6 clear of Open field.Bottlers. |
|
By:
in his day but not won much lately just saying wouldn't trust either currently yes phil was brillant but today got a lot of luck which won't keep up

phils scrambling 10/10
that's what matters ![]() |

Think personally Stenson should/could be further clear!
|
|
By:
i know where tim6 is coming from in what he avers BUT they are too far clear of a bunch of pathetic chokers
i was on haas for 4 figs but have cashed out as he is one of the softest c*nts on tour i think both leaders are great guys..no side..not up their own arses like some we all know but they have shown fragility(esp. stenson) but they both won't trip up..one may..or they could and in all probability WILL pull further clear may the best man win but would love to see lefty lift another one but if henrik were to better him that would be great as well |
|
By:
Rather be on Phil than anyone if close on the back 9 of a major.

Phil a bottler

would be delighted for Stenson or Phil as 2 genuine guys who don't throw tantrums and break clubs like some but have a feeling theres another chapter in this yet especially when defending a lead.

Used to be a Rory fan. Turning into a **** imo.

I thought Rory did well considering the circumstances. Anyone else notice what he was wearing today, looked like a bullet proof vest to me.
